A few of us here now - got a nice private area in the restaurant, a lovely spread, and quite a few Accor big wigs here to welcome you, figurer out why you chose crowne and Hilton over Accor, and answer all those platinum questions a few of us have then they are going to leave us to eat and drink.

From my perspective, when I was Accor Platinum they gave me nothing and the others offer heaps.

Loved meeting the few who run it behind the scenes day in day out. Shame they couldn't stay for a bit longer really. Loving the spread and wine though - a bit more adequate than an executive lounge!

It was a good night with a lot of experienced travelers there.

The reps I spoke to seemed surprised when it was explained that it is lots about status (Free nights are fine but free breakky can be better).
