I have booked as well, flights for the whole family (wife/2kids), USD$1,700 as opposed to AUD$6K on QF website for the same fares.

I have received the e-tickets and done seat selection on the QF web site.

Just pulled the trigger for October... Unbelievable! Is O fare upgradeable?

Orbitz still showing SYD-LAX for $540USD in Feb 2016

I stand corrected. The couple of searches I retried returned more reasonable fares, and I naively assumed that all of them would have been fixed.

Just got a September booking MEL-SYD-LAX-MEL for $US574. Was planning to make this booking last week to get in before EOFY, glad I waited and saved 50% instead! Through Qantas website there is nothing below $A1690 around those dates. Could also get PE for $US1600 or so on the same dates, but J was not a deep discount

Dates in Feb still good

edit: maybe not, i think all the disc Y fare buckets may have been pulled, prices have tripled

They appear to have dissapeared now? or is there another site offering them? I booked one and just found my second one I wanted to go with then it dissapeared.
