Had a crack at it but by the time we were ready to book, the fares had risen. Bugger!

Was looking at February.

hipmunk/cheapoair looks to have updated now also to higher prices on US routes

Still can see Orbitz on EK for USD935 MEL-LHR vv in March.

MEL > JNB on EK under $1000, can be found in Feb 2016 via sky scanner.
Great for those thinking of starting a OW done5 commencing in JNB.

Noticed they are all gone now, would be interested to hear from the adventurous folk who booked to see if Qantas honour them.

Will be interesting to see what the argument is. The reduction on fuel surcharges was widely publicised and it appears fares published didn't include them. I'd say for a majority of people, these fares were nothing more than a reflection of what was advertised.

Re: Return Flights to LA on Qantas for under $600

aff.jpg$579! Crazy!

In that case will hold off till booking some yups for a while, just in case.

You can book them snabbu, just don't pay for them. You can put AA YUPPs on a 24 hour hold which can be stretched to almost 48 hours if you book after midnight at the point of departure of the YUPP.

Yep aware of that however if the fares are not honored say next week then that's of no use.

Jesus, holy mackeral! I am going to Orbitz now.... if that fails, any other OTA offering this?

The only thing that would get you out of jail would be an AA sked change in excess of 180 minutes for a full refund of the YUPP back to the credit card.

Flightscanner still showing sub $1k return to Europe on EK for Feb16. Pity I can't pull the trigger at the moment.

An update for you savvy AFFers celebrating Xmas in July with these mistake fares: they’re not valid and have been removed from sale. We’re currently following up affected bookings.
