QF009 has PM'd me re the place I was referring too.

It's called equinox and is at the base of the Melbourne Central office tower, opening onto l'il Lonsdale St and Elizabeth St.

There's a Taxi rank right outside in Elizabeth St, as well as a rail station downstairs for a quick exit.

In the evenings 4-10pm it has those $10 Jugs I mentioned as well as 2 for 1 other drinks (mixed, RTD, wine etc.)

The location is right near the centre of the CBD.

I propose a drinks night, which ends up being nicely timed to be 1 month after the first.

I'll be Skybussing into the city as I've got meetings all afternoon, then off to AFF drinks; just working out now where I will be staying Friday night... and how to get back to the airport for my flight out at 2pm on the Saturday!

BTW, bad news for AFF#3; I won't be able to come over a day early now as I'm having an operation and can't fly for 6 weeks after :evil: but luckily the day I fly out for AFF#3 is spot on 6 weeks after:!:

Yep, 17:00 is when serfty will be there. I'm hoping to get there by 17:00 also, providing my meetings run to schedule.

We'll be in Melbourne Wed night if anyone is around and then I have another day trip to Melbourne on Sunday.

I really can't handle 3 trips there in one week. :shock:
