...obviously there wont be 30 odd munitalPs there!

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Some of us are QF; some are VA and some are both, but the only difference is that the rest of us are forward thinking. :p

Just kidding :D Love the badges. I assume the HSP gives us a stamp in the box once we have "settled" the meal (e.g. by cash/credit or added to room account), so when we sit down for dinner we can be accounted for?

Will be quite exciting to see the representative(s) from Cathay Pacific there! A unique and unprecedented invitee to an AFF Do...

Not to be imposing or taking on the DYKWIA attitude... But is it correct to say that attendees will have access to the Hilton lounge throughout the weekend if they're staying at the property regardless of the room booked or HH status?

P.S. I've already supplied by booking details to the organiser.

I can help with the cheer leaders and will arrive in the morning.

<grump>Hey, some of those cheerleaders are relatives of AFF members and under 18!! </grump>

But feel free to appreciate the athleticism of the ladies over 18yo.

There is only VA at the event. CX have supported in other ways you will see on Saturday.

As for the stamp, correct. At registration time, you will register your room for meal charges

Whooo, 4 days to go.

Appropriately, I am flying DJ, so I will have a fresh experience of VA to talk about.

Well.. both DJ and QF are listed on the name badge as supporters.

I therefore felt it would be appropriate to fly DJ there and QF back :)

What about CX :p:p

Why don't you leave early on Friday, take QF87 to HKG, then connect to CX103 to BNE, then connect via road to the HSP.

You can then fly VA on Sunday back to SYD... easy :p

Has anyone seen any little surprises in their Hilton booking?

Hmm, nothing that I can tell. Though by the time I booked the room, I could only get a two bedroom apartment *sigh*, and my Diamond status has since come through, and of course I got a pre-paid package with breakfast included. *double sigh*.
But, that's all my OWN fault. I'm looking forward to having plenty of space for the two of us for one night!!! :p And a big brekky!! :p

My SIL just told me tonight that the Gold Coast marathon is on Sunday morning. Worth taking note if anyone's planning on leaving early on Sunday:
