Anybody with any knowledge on Mobile Phone Signal Boosters? Our signal inside office below steel roof just abysmal - walk out the door and huge difference. I see plenty advertised but just wondering do they work? Any recos for a certain brand / model / type?

Make sure that whatever you get is legal and licensed. The Celfi set up is - but anything off Ebay or from overseas is probably illegal.

Have a Celfi set up with external antenna, and it certainly does the job. Got it via www.telcoantennas.com.au

Steel roof, and house has a hill on the back in the line of sight to the tower, so garbage reception inside, however the antenna on the roof is above the "shadow" of the hill, and gets excellent reception.

UPS for both units (you have one connected to the antenna, and one elsewhere to connect to the phones).

Watch for the choice of units - 3G is all you need for voice, but if you want to use data and have 4G available - they unit to handle that costs more.
