My first flight in FIRST by QANTAS was such a let-down, it certainly won't happen again!

Wow. I did have a passenger try this one on me in Melbourne once. It was a nice warning, as I had time to have his luggage offloaded, so that the he wasn't on board I didn't have to wait at all... it was really easy to close the door and go.

Well Mr. HERO PILOT … If I found you did that me ( for what's been my experience ), you would be answering some questions in someone's office ( eventually ).

Even after clarifying that there was NO ACTUAL HOLD-UP of the flight …. the likes of you still want to sensationalise, and add your own interpretation.

God help the pax on your flights … if you mis-interpret information supplied to you in the air !!

Further confirmation of where the problem lies...

Time for mods to step in methinks.

Good idea … I'd like a Moderator to email me.

I have some questions ….

I think the number of things that were 'wrong' with your experience might suggest it was not entirely of the airline's doing.

The risk of an incident on board - with potentially little or no trigger - seems a real risk. Denied boarding would be a valid way to manage that risk, and at least give the passenger a chance to recalibrate.

You all have under-estimated me …

I knew that 'could' happen.

I acted in a completely reasonable manner.... otherwise, why wasn't I denied boarding ??

Time to write it off as experience Rick93.
there are a lot of better F flight experiences out there so just forget QF and try the others.Several here are doing just that.
You don't have to pony up the full fare.just do a search and you will find ways here to experience F as it should be.

I did have my first QFi flight yesterday and it confirmed my decision to only use them when necessary. Not much OW choice across the ditch.
Even getting the flight.QFF would only offer mrsdrron 1 J award AKL-BNE as a WP.We then used her AA account-absolutely no status-and she was able to get 2 awards.
But things really haven't changed for the better catering.Seriously this is a salad.

.
Then mrsdrron was told no more chicken salad.so I asked for the roast chicken sandwich only to be told that was also gone.Of course Mr.6a was served after me and was able to order the roast chicken sandwich.

So Rick give the others a go mate.

I have "written it off", but it seems I've been compelled to 'explain myself' … as if I owe it to critics.

However, for some … my explanation wasn't good enough.

I appreciate your reasonable response drron.

Judgement of one's behaviour I would suggest is best left to the observers of that behaviour - and maybe you went closer than what you may think to being denied boarding...

I have "written it off", but it seems I've been compelled to 'explain myself' … as if I owe it to critics.

Now there's a non sequitur...

Why post about it on a public forum at all if you didn't want people's input? It's Australian Frequent Flyer, not Australian Free Whinge Session.

Another genius !!

I would have been happy for two or three responses about what SHOULD happen with F class pax.
Then the question would have been dealt with. But ….

I AM ONLY RESPONDING TO THE GARBAGE I RECEIVE ….

( do you get it ? stop criticising me, and the thread will die off … )

I can just imagine you standing there at the gate, screaming at the top of your whiny voice "BUT I'M IN FIRST CLASS YOU GENIUS, YOU HAVE TO LET ME ON NOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!"

I haven't been following that closely, but am I wrong in thinking that the OP said/did wait until last to board? Someone has to be the last, and for whatever reason, he decided it would be him. Perhaps I've missed something, but not to worry, I don't like this thread much. ;)

If 300Y pax were milling around waiting to board it seems likely the OP didn't wait for the lounge or notice board boarding to announce boarding had commenced.

None? I know that "Mr HERO PILOT" you were so rude a few messages ago was in the RAAF if that helps?

Mods - perhaps this thread has had its day?

Actually , not very smart, are you ?

Back when I was in hospitality, I used to treat every instance where a customer needed magnets realigned as one where I would be answering questions. There's ways and means!
