As a follow up, agent Cheung could find the offer, but not the first year free. I emailed him the link and phone twice, but had no further contact from him. He seemed a short tempered sort of person.

So, I will try to apply on line. Whilst I was on the phone, I lowered the limit on my old NAB card to 6K in case it helped my app for this new one.

I have an 'old' NAB platinum cc that I've had for years. It does not give points, but I have a $20 direct debit on it that I haven't bothered changing and it just ticks over.

I have just called NAB to see if I can get this new one. Ran through a few Q&A, but he had trouble finding this actual promo and had to email him the link. He's going to ring me back when the email gets through.

He didn't seem at all worried about the bonus points, just the 1st year free offer.

Likely you're going to have to apply as a "new" customer to get the bonus points. Usually doesn't apply to existing customers transferring product. Will be interesting to see if they do give you the bonus points.

Just saw this :(
Got the NAB basic with 20k and no annual fee for the first year only a few weeks ago!
The offer is until mid April so hopefully there is no exclusion clause and I may apply then...

I am also having an issue with NAB saying the offer I applied for was 20k plus an annual fee of $265 and not waived. The agent told me I had applied after the offer for 40k and fee waived had expired. Wrong. I have the screenshot showing what I applied for. It is dated 22 January. Incidentally, the agent said the 40k and fee waived offer ended on 19 January.

It is very concerning when a bank doesn't even get their own promotions rights.

That said, the agent I dealt with had exceptional customer service skills and seemed genuinely interested in helping.

I also got card, called NAB to confirm offer and was told that offer ended. My offer letter states no annual fee but nothing about points. Was told it is a Qantas offer.........they really don't know so hopefully points will appear after spend. If anyone gets 40000 points can you post.
thanks

There is a Qantas page

http://www.qantas.com.au/cardselect...emium+Card&intCountSelected=0&partnercode=NAB

And a NAB page

http://www.nab.com.au/personal/camp...mium-lp?cid=FY15Q2_CC_Qantas_Prem40Kpoints_LP

Print to PDF both. If you get this bull**** again just go straight to the Internal Disputes team and tell them you will escalate to FOS, don't accept any runaround. What a load of tripe.

You don't have to be a new customer, you just can't transfer the credit limit from another card. I already have the Vff card, just got the QFF.

Just to confirm I rang today to ask where my card is - in the mail. She confirmed 40k QFF and no annual fee in first year. Tried to get a 0% BT as well but no luck...worth a shot. Will put a few transactions through it then cancel before the 12 months.

I'll be applying for this when my credit score recovers a little but after reading this thread I will definitely be taking screenshots of the offers.

Have applied and provisionally been approved, pending providing payslips. An easy way to 40,000 qantas ff points!

Are people disclosing other cards BT amounts on them on application?

I didn't tell them all my limits. If I did they'd know all too easily that the combined limits on my cards are at least 80% of my income, probably more.
Get in before Comprehensive Credit Reporting then as they will know that soon! If you really don't need those limits (and less face it, if you did I woudn't be lending to you) would have to suggest this year is a good one to consolidate your cards both by cancelling cards you really don't need and/or reducing limits much higher than you really need.

By say EOY they will know your limits and whats more if you lie you may well find that itself is regarded as a reason to decline.

Received my cards today no requirement to see any of my financial claims on application. I disclosed all my other cards and limits. All I had to do was activate and acquire new pins at the ATM. :D

I have just done an application to SWMBO, which was also approved.

Hmmm. What is this "comprehensive credit reporting" you speak of?

Just got mine today as well. They didn't even call my HR....hopefully I will get the 40k QFF. Can I spend a dollar and still get the points???

Following, as we will apply soon (just got a few house loans, as in new house & trabsfer of current house), so will wait a few weeks before the credit file get hit.

Going to the 40K pts and 0 annual fee link did anybody else see the following in the online application:
