I did give approval for them to use some verification thing…. Not sure what it was. It did however pull all my accounts from my credit file and add them to the application. But I don’t see how it would have verified income (salary and rent listed)
@N860CR @sudoer How did you guys activated your westpac on same day approval? Looking at the app, and clicking on "activate", it asks for the last 6 digit numbers which I don't have yet. The digital card only shows the last 4, and doesn't reveal more (I get an error retry later) Google play refuse to add it as it is unactivated. The card got approved 1h ago. Maybe I should wait longer, the error I get might clear ..

But the page did say it was a NAB Qantas Rewards Signature Card with a $395 annual feeApplied for this card but was only approved for a $8,500 credit limit. Does that mean I've been downgraded to the NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Card?

Incidentally, just looking at the terms and conditions and it looks like the Signature lockout for sign up bonuses is 18 months rather than the more conventional 12 months.
Any update on this?Applied for this card but was only approved for a $8,500 credit limit. Does that mean I've been downgraded to the NAB Qantas Rewards Premium Card?
I was conditionally approved, I do have Citi cards, can NAB see the credit balances of these cards? Since NAB had purchase Citi retail banking?
What are the odds they’ll just rely on the payslips?
Credit card issuers, including NAB, will see your credit card limits/details via Credit Reporting agencies in any caseI do have Citi cards, can NAB see the credit balances of these cards?
Yeah, I would assume so. I am trying to do a balance transfer to my Citi Coles card. The way I heard it explained, the balances on the credit cards don't really matter. The banks will look at all the credit cards, work out what the repayments would be if all the cards were maxed out - including the one you are applying for - and seeing whether you could afford the repayments given your income and declared outgoings.

When I login to the NAB application, it just says, conditionally approved, and says ID verified, and then nothing else.
It says could take up to 5 days to hear anything. It is now that long wait.
WOW, I had done a NAB one ages ago, it asked for payslips on the exact same page that I am on now. So, it was surprising to see "ID Verified", and not bottom section for documents.I have just got an NAB card. Mine said ID verified as I had applied for another NAB card the previous month, but still said "To Do". I waited over a week, phoned up to ask about progress, and was notified the card had been accepted about ten minutes after the phone call. I got the card two days later.

I will see how it goes. I am in the United States until December, so I am not in a rush, was curious as to what had changed with the progression page.
But, it also shows, how lazy NAB officers can be.
Why would they require you to go back in, if you were already ID VERIFIED?I did have to show payslips and rock up to a Branch to show my ID last month - clearly that was all still valid for this month's application.
Patience grasshopperI can send them my payslips, no issues. Just, getting to a branch, maybe not so easy, since I am here until December.
