@N860CR @sudoer How did you guys activated your westpac on same day approval? Looking at the app, and clicking on "activate", it asks for the last 6 digit numbers which I don't have yet. The digital card only shows the last 4, and doesn't reveal more (I get an error retry later) Google play refuse to add it as it is unactivated. The card got approved 1h ago. Maybe I should wait longer, the error I get might clear ..
I thought it was under the PIN section, if you change the PIN it should show the last 6.

I did have to show payslips and rock up to a Branch to show my ID last month - clearly that was all still valid for this month's application.
Yeah, I need to do this apparently. But, UI am in the USA for the next 3 months, so not sure how I will achieve that.

Well you could call them, but they aren't going to be keen to issue a card if you are not in Australia for an extended period of time. They may suggest cancelling the application and re-applying when you are back onshore.

Yeah, I assumed as much. I won’t be back until early December. Didn’t expect them to say go to branch, as I’m already ID verified by them.

I had contacted NAB based on my application from overseas, my application now doesn't appear on the website.

No response from NAB.

Just got this card - simple and fast process. Applied Sunday, upload payslips Monday, approved and digital card active Tuesday afternoon. Wish they were all this seamless. Now to see if bonus points credit is as prompt.

Lucky you. Took me a month. The guy who looked at my application was rather incompetent imho. Wasnt fun.

Hello guys,

I am interested in applying for the NAB Qantas Rewards Signature credit card.
I noticed that NAB does not state the minimum income requirements for this card.
How do banks normally assess the application if they don't state the minimum income requirements ?

And can you cancel a NAB card online or do you have to call them up to cancel ?

Thank you.
After expenses $80k your laughing.

Same. Thankfully application went though automatically, no issues with payslips and card arrived quickly.

Another data point from this week - applied Tuesday afternoon, payslips uploaded same day. Approved Wednesday afternoon with Apple pay card active.

From application approval to card closure in 20 days. Wish all credit cards were like this. 18 months on the side lines now with NAB!

Hrm. I hit my minimum spend (on ATO payments) in my first statement period. All transactions are reflected in the statement, but the statement shows "0 Qantas points earned this month" and "0 Bonus points" and "0 Total points earned"

edit: I should clarify, this is for the NAB Business Qantas Signature card

How many pay slips do they want? My last one was much lower than normal as I took leave at 1/2 pay...so may have to wait a while b4 I can apply.
.

data point from Feb - existing NAB customer, joint transaction / savings account holder, salary incoming accounts too, just applied in online banking this morning, instant approval, high 60kish limit, no questions asked. I've got another amex card limit at 22kish + amex charge + ANZ 16kish + nab card 6kish.

Does anyone know if I BPay my council rates via the NAB Signature Card that would count towards the minimum spend and that the transaction will earn points? According to NAB's T&Cs they generally count BPay payments as "Purchases" and thus, eligible for earning points, but in the same doc they also say that "Government fees and charges" arent eligible for points so wanted to know if anyone could shed some light?

If it says no for government fees and charges then government Bpay codes will presumably be blocked from generating points.

Applied for this card tonight...took a long 20-25 minutes and they listed all my current cards with their limits...scary...asked a million Qs to the point where I thought there is no way they are going to approve this card....within 2 minutes of submitting the application, I received an sms saying card was approved .. wow..and have already added it to Google wallet....easy 120K Qf points assuming I spend $3000 within 60 days...cost $295 for 1 year.

It's actually going to cost you $690 for that 120K though, isn't it?
