NAB QF Rewards Signature card application questions

It's actually going to cost you $690 for that 120K though, isn't it?
If you apply for the NAB Signature Reward card from within your current NAb account (which I now have as my Citibank debit card was TFed to NAB), the offer is 120K QF points when you spend $3000 within 60 days...the annual fee is also reduced to $295 ongoing. None of this rubbish of having to keep the card open for a 2nd year to get some of the points!

Oh very interesting.

Applied for this card tonight...took a long 20-25 minutes and they listed all my current cards with their limits...scary...asked a million Qs to the point where I thought there is no way they are going to approve this card....within 2 minutes of submitting the application, I received an sms saying card was approved .. wow..and have already added it to Google wallet....easy 120K Qf points assuming I spend $3000 within 60 days...cost $295 for 1 year.
I had the same experience today - should have done it before I booked the DSC airfares!

Does anyone know if a $3200-odd credit card purchase on Alibaba counts towards QFF points etc?

A bit update for exising NAB customer offer: it's no longer a 120k outright after $3000 in 60 days.

Existing customer offer – Qantas Rewards Signature 120k Bonus Points Offer

Offer commenced 21 March 2024. To be eligible for an existing customer offer, you must apply for an eligible new personal NAB Credit Card via this page, the NAB app or NAB Internet Banking, before the offer is withdrawn. NAB may vary or end this offer at any time.

Points will be awarded on a tiered basis - 90,000 bonus Qantas Points will be awarded when you spend $3,000 on eligible purchases in the first 60 days. Bonus Qantas Points will be credited to your points balance within three months of meeting the spend criteria, and 30,000 bonus Qantas Points after 12 months, credited to your points balance within the 13th month.

The 90k points after initial $3000 spend then 30k points after 12 months is what I signed up to a couple of weeks ago.

It seems they just made it official via Ts & Cs. Too bad.
Offer commenced 21 March 2024.
Me personally still got the previous 120k after $3000 in 60 days offer (applied and got approved the card ~40 days ago) and it got credited today.

Nice! I wish I had of done it back then as I would have received the extra points plus could have put my DSC offer flights on the card!

Such a shame. Waiting my 18 month jail term, which ends in May, to hit this card again. Well done to those who got the full 120K straight up.

Any AFFers going to admit that they had been phoning NAB to ask why it was at 120,000 points outright? 🤔

A question from the curious - was it 120,000 points + another 30,000 after 12 months or just 120,000 points total?

just outright 120k, no second yr bonus 30k.
OK well I've just had a couple of surprises tonight...

Received an email saying that the statement for my new NAB Qantas Signature Rewards card was now available - this is a bit of a surprise seeing as I only received and activated it on the 18/3 - less than 10 days ago - was expecting that I would receive a statement after 30 days but noooo...

Second surprise is that it says that I have earned 126244 QFF points which is interesting as I've only spent $7492 on the card and when I signed up it clearly said that the offer was 90000 points after spending $3K + a further 30000 points after 12 months. Looks like I might have received the previous offer of 120,000 points after all... time will tell I guess.

Speaking of time, how long after I receive a statement should I expect the points to show up in my QFF account?

Virtually immediately in my experience, maybe next day.

Just checked and bingo - they are there - certainly wasn't expecting it to happen that fast! I might have to read up about Points Club now! I imagine the SC earn from Classic Rewards flights is pretty minimal?

My partner has it, the SC was fine.

Also if you book flight during the DSC period, the SC credited from Points Club (solely from Classic Rewards flights) counts too.

I also got my 120K bonus as well today after signing up in mid-February.

Ironically, in my first statement in February, I was not allocated with any points. But all the points came through in today's statement instead. I now made Points Club and am wondering whether it is worth going for Point Club Plus.

I will make Points Club on my next trip, so far I still haven't found out what the SC earn for classic rewards flights is like - no idea whether it is half of the SC's earned on paying discount Y or what it might be.
