Taken Name the airports & win a Qantas lounge pass

We now have 10 correct answers. So, does anyone want a lounge pass? 😂
It probably should come as no surprise now that those who can use the passes most probably hadn’t been to many of those lounges! But something to look forward to as we approach a new normal.

Great idea nonetheless!

I do agree that most people who would recognise lots of airports probably don't need any passes - and well, let's be honest, half the country can't travel at the moment! Still, it's hopefully all a bit of fun.

So to sum up, the answers to round one were:

1. PER
2. AKL
3. SIN
4. HNL
5. AYQ
6. HAM
7. EMD
8. WLG
9. PEK
10. RAR

As a bit of trivia, the man playing the ukelele on the baggage carousel in Rarotonga is Jake Numanga. He has met pretty much every flight arriving into the Cook Islands for the past 40 years! He's a local icon.

@flydoc has claimed the first round of lounge passes. I'll start a new quiz tomorrow to give away one more pass.

I let @flydoc have 3 passes as he has 3 family members travelling together next week, so I now have one more pass to give away which expires on 26 October 2021.

So, here's Round Two. Again, if you don't need a pass then please give others a chance (i.e. until tomorrow) before naming specific airports - but feel free to drop hints. :)

I think I know what #2 is ... and that's it ... the remaining, no idea

Round 2 is a bit tougher for myself, confident I know at least a couple. Another I may have been through but most airports blur into one and a couple of others I could have a stab at the country but no idea on which airport.

I’ve been up those escalators in #2 many times - turned left and right. Both reasonable options and much better than the now closed starry alliance subterranean bunker that serviced a regular Nth American carrier.

Trust someone with your handle & avatar to know #2 ;)

In case people are wondering, #3 is *not* the Bundy Bear! But I suspect the locals do share a linguistic saying, aye. 😉

I‘ve not been there but I wonder if people crowd the carousel like other airports?

#1 is a given I have taken photos there after deboarding, I may or may not posted these in a separate TR to BOS.

1 is easy if you've been there but I'm not sure I can think of a clue that wouldn't just give it away

Some of the writing on the signs narrow it down to a region of the world. Safe to say you‘re not in MCI 😀.
