Yes, Nelspruit but I just realised that there is the newer MQP down there also. I don’t recall ever seeing internal ZA flights to that one?
MQP also has daily Airlink flights to CPT and multiple-daily to JNB :)

Looks like the only airports which remain to be guessed are #3 and #7.

I've already given a hint about #3 (it's in northern Canada). I'll give a further hint to say that it's not uncommon to see buffaloes at this airport.

#7 is quite close to Kruger National Park and has Handy Daily Services to both Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Did you mean take a Gander at buffaloes?

Sorry, I meant that MQP has daily services to JNB/CPT in addition to HDS. NLP no longer has commercial flights AFAIK.
Probably why I couldn’t find any flights there….🤣. A lot of guides still refer to flying to Neilspruit.

So have you been there.
Short answer is no, so I guess there is an airport that looks similar that we have all been to, I also think we all subscribe to most airports look alike. Slightly longer answer apparently I have been to Hungary (not BUD) as a kid but do not remember it, MrsM has traveled throughout Europe but this is one country she did not go to and as we have not been there, MissM has not been.

@Mattg with the help of google I think I may have found the answer to #3 and will post my stab if the assistance of google is permitted. Either way I am glad you posted the photo as looking up 'what to do' in the wider area it seems to be a good place to go to see something that is on my bucket list. We were booked to go to Canada in 2020 during the best viewing time but did not know about this place. The 'best viewing season' works with AU school holidays (either summer/fall or winter/spring) so a visit in either 2022/23 maybe on the cards. Going back to Canada is an easy sell to MrsM :)

I saw the lights on board a Westjet flight en-route to that destination :)

Is number 6 BUD?

Ha, I was thinking you were referring to Bundaberg (ICAO is YBUD) and thinking you were way off!

Obviously that's BDB. I tend to think in ICAO primarily.
