New 100 Year anniversary Q Tags

Are there special designs for Silver, Gold, WP, P1? Or does everyone get the same one

I believe we've only seen the 100 year design in the wild for WP tags.

It could be that the golden years of DSCs (2018-2019) minted so many platinums that QF exhausted stock of the older WP tags and this was the first status tier of tags they ordered with the commemorative design. I assume the plan was to create similar 100 year versions for other tiers as those stocks depleted - but who knows what'll happen post covid.

Interesting. Maybe they’ll make the other tiers pay for theirs!

I'll certainly update this thread once/if the tags arrive as to whether QF are continuing to issue the commemorative tags (which I'm hoping for) or are back to the WP standard issue.

They are available for other tiers. I wrote to QFF in mid August and received a prompt reply from Jennifer (is she only person working in the QFF office?) She told me she would send a baggage tag1D5E6D83-0657-4A8F-A894-26CBCF26DFB4.jpeg out and I would receive it in 10 to 15 days. Sure enough it arrived today. Thanks Jennifer.

Sounds fine.
As a result (of the network changes, meaning reduced revenue) we have paused X services.

As most of us have already pumped revenue into QF, we could at least get a new bag tag.

A bit on the nose. 🐟

I even mentioned in my request that I've been a member since 1995, a quarter of QF's centenary...

The Qantas website now says they won't send out any new cards or membership kits until 31 March 2021 (except for members using the Qantas Travel Money facility, who may still get a card).

Effective until 31 March 2021, Qantas has paused the distribution of the majority of Frequent Flyer, Qantas Club and Chairmans Lounge physical cards and kits sent to members. This includes members who either purchase or renew Qantas Club membership, retain status, attain a higher tier or join the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. However, members will still get access to digital cards in the Qantas App and will receive email communications regarding tier changes or membership purchases. All Qantas and partner booking systems will continue to reflect any changes too.

Members who have activated the Qantas Travel Money facility, have cash loaded and/or have transacted at least once in the last twelve months will continue to receive a physical card.

Slightly off topic but it irritates me that Qantas is so inconsistent with who and why they send those bag tags out for. Why are some FFers being told nothing is being sent, but then some get it in the mail. If they aren't sending it out then why do some get it but others don't
