This thread is for your comments and suggestions on the new (Xenforo) AFF website.

You can see our handy Guide to using the new site HERE.

Can I suggest a favicon replacement.
So any shortcut for home page will have AFF logo not xenforo.

Also might be useful to push through an update to the old app with a holding message. On Android it's just sitting on the splash screen.

The main forum list page renders badly on mobile for some reason, with text only covering about 40%
(And a test for posting photos. I inlined the thumbnail)

When you look at it portrait (sideways) I think I know why. It is dropping lots of text and info but keeping the spacing.

But overall it's pretty good, quick and responsive.
Will just take a little bit of time to get used to

At first blush, new site looks good and is quite responsive on mobile which is great.

Glad to see the photo post worked well for you! :)

The responsiveness of the design was a key driving force.

Use this link to find threads with new posts.

Recent Posts | The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community

Only shows first 200, not those up to 10 days old.

Also to go to first unread you have to click on the little box showing the last page number of your desired thread (or the thread itself if no box), wait for it to load, then use the option there.

The forum site now is simply awful, heading is so bland (dead) and far too much white space in all comments, very disappointing to say the least.

When going to a forum that I was following from my email it takes you to the start of the thread not to the last read post as it used to. Click on the Last Read button and it still dos not take you to the last read post.. I notice that in some forums the posts are not in date order. A lot os posts going back to August are marked as NEW but are clearly old and have been read prior.

The photo is a thumbnail that needs to be opened to view - will that be the new norm, or are there different ways to include photos in a post?

When viewing the new posts list is shows last post by and the name.. Used to be able to click on that and go to the last post in the thread. This functionality now seems to have disappeared

I think you'll find the previous read/unread state from vBulletin did not translate in the move, hence why everything shows as new.

The "guide" explains this, you have the ability to post a thumbnail or a full size image. The thumbnails are useful I find. As is the Lightbox that displays when clicking on some images, allows for easy scrolling between the images in a post.

Looks Ok but will have to get used to the new format :)

Not sure if it can be added back but having the button go to top of page was handy.

I have also noticed that I am not receiving email alerts when new posts are made to watched forums.

Ok Found them in Junk Mail but cant add to safe senders list as it tells me address is incorrect format?

Lime green text on white backgrounds (eg 'ratings received') is near impossible to read.
