New Amex statement credits

Also you will need a seperate email address to activate every single vpay voucher

I activated two last night using the same email address. Both activated and I wrote down the codes. Only issue is when you login to the site only the latest one that was activated was viewable in the online section. No big deal I guess.

They only charged me $5.50 for the $300 total even though I had to buy 2 X $150 vouchers. Good on HN for doing that. Most likely cause the $300 one wasnt working.

Thats very interesting. Thought part of the point of not selling the $300 card was to charge extra issuance fee as well as discourage the $300 VPay transaction.

Exactly. Sometimes it pays to think beyond the promo. how can you further exploit it. Can you stack etc etc..

I don't know if exploit is the right term!
Looking at the reloadable, max initial load is only $100 so if you buy the card with a normal Visa/MC you will also earn the points from that $110 (inc $10 fee) - instead of using a vpay voucher and getting no points.

Another option in theory is to buy a Gift/Online MC with $1000 initial load + $5 card fee and earn normal Visa/MC points on $1005. Then pay the $5 conversion fee to a Reloadable then put your vpay into that. You are "out of pocket" the same amount but earn more points.

The daily limit for ATM withdrawals for the Reloadable appears to be $300. The PDS is not easy to follow:
If you do not increase your card limit, the max daily ATM withdrawal in Australia is $300.
If you do increase your card limit, as of 1 July 2016 the max daily ATM withdrawal in Australia is $300 (formerly $1000).
Limiting your "cashback" to $300 a day is also something to consider.

The operable part was "how can you further exploit it"

Many times you can't, or perhaps only in a minor way. But every now and again you can really go to town. I have been able to have quite a number of very large hauls on point promos. These cash promos are "nice", but normally cannot really be exploited much.

In the meantime you just have to be alert, be willing to think laterally and most all be ready seize the day when opportunity does present.

All my $100 landed today :)
This forum continues to be very generous. It doesn't always work out well performing autopsies on golden geese though

Wow, totally didn't think of this! You could in theory buy thousands of dollars of vpay vouchers in the one transaction, pay the $5.50 transaction fee once, then buy a $10 reloadable Coles MC and put those thousands of dollars on it and cash out.
It is $5.50 fee for each VPay voucher. If you get the cashier to waive subsequent fees for multiple VPay vouchers you have been lucky.

No you don't. One email address is enough.

I've activated two Vpays under one email but it only shows the latter voucher with balance of $300 instead of two vouchers with total balance of $600.

Is it a system error? Both vouchers show as redeemed.

Apparently if you use one email address, it will only show the balance of the last voucher as per Lawrage's post above.

So basically one can activate as many vouchers under one email address or is there an amount limit?

I think a few more pms would be good
I would love to receive this promotion again in future but I don't think that is going to happen. Why has this thread turned into a discussion on how it's possible to exploit this promotion to the fullest?

I suspect because there are many 'newbies' who do not understand why not to kill the golden goose.

So is it confirmed HN AMEX VPAY is gone?
Ozbargained?
Went to go today but OZB saying they have stopped VPAY vouchers?

And spoil it for everyone doing the right thing? Yep. Greed at its finest.

OzBargain run a business, they need subscribers and have competition from similar sites. If they won't publish those deals someone else will do it for profit.
You may call it greed but it's simply their business.

There is a link to view all active vouchers. VPay support sent it to me. I'm not posting link on a public forum.

You can also just write down the card number then register the next one. I think a call or email to them would work if you wanted to check the balance on any other cards.

Not sure how buying these vpay cards is going to spoil it for anyone. I used my 3 Amex cards to buy 3 lots of Vpays and will use that to buy something somewhere. I took a gamble and if I dont get the rebate no biggie, il spend the $900 on groceries or something else.

I don't see it as any different to going in and haggling with a sales person to say I want that $900 TV and I want to split the payment onto my 3 cards netting a $300 return, technically probably just as grey imho.

Onto other things, started the Shop Small this weekend, discovered a great buy at pharmacies - Nappies. Best I've ever found was $28, with this promo they are $18 a box.
