New Amex statement credits

How did you get such a good price? it's 14.99 so even at 50% off using max discount its 7.5 a bottle - unless you used a coupon or something?
Too bad they don't have gift cards!

It comes down to $12.90 in a dozen. Two dozen is $309.60 with free delivery. Take off $150 in cashbacks and it comes down to $159.60 for 24 ($6.65). I think it's the cheapest I've ever gotten either it, Oyster Bay or Villa Maria for (which are my usual everyday summer sav blancs.

Thanks NCR! Did you use multiple cards to get back 150?

That's a great price? How did you manage to split payment?

HN @ Domayne is actually a HN. The complex is called Domayne or something so it's ended up with a stupid name. It's confused me before.

And Amex is showing it as a nearby location on my account as well so it should be good.

Happy to report that I picked up an iPhone 7 128gb for a net cost of $829, with a TRS credit to come yet (assuming the queue is not too long) - the cashier lady even said "let me guess, you want to pay in $300 per card!", so HN Alexandria are definitely on board with this promo!

From my experience, online claim line was shorter and moved faster in Sydney (even with less staff than normal line). Not quite sure this time as I'm leaving around Christmas.

Tried registering my sister's AMEX and got this message:
"Unfortunately the maximum number of Card Members have already enrolled in this offer. Please visit http://www.amexconnect.com.au for other fabulous offers"

I believe there was a limit to the number of cards allowed to subscribe for this offer, as it's usually the case with AMEX offers but for cards that already subscribed the Vpay deal still works, a friend bought some today.

A have 2 supplementary cards on their way that I was hoping would get here before this happened- ce la vie I guess

This is the 3rd HN offer since I signed up to an Amex card 15-18 months ago IIRC (?) so I don't see why there won't be another. The world hasn't ended

Yep, it's a definitely a Harvey Norman store - my receipt has the Harvey Norman letterhead and most importantly, my purchase triggered 4 emails as expected.

Re: TRS, I am flying out of SYD in a couple of weeks, and have got the app so hoping the online queue won't be too long.

Anyone who panicked can relax and breathe, the HN deal is very much alive! Activated new card today, successfully purchased Vpay, moved funds to Coles MC and got cash out at Westpac ATM. Works a treat.
Not for much longer. The number of stores you can do this is rapidly reducing.

They'd be silly if there was a next time. Enjoy while it's still possible.

Registerd all my cards for HN offer but didn't have the time to purchase until yesterday , original come to HN to purchase a washing machine but later on find out on ozbargain about the vpay things , bought 2 x $300 yesterday afternoon just want to play safe to see if i received the credit back before i go back and bought a few more . Come back 10 mins later ( after reading here that people actually received credit with vpay ) and it was out of stock , successfully activated this morning and done 2 ATO payment with $298.39 each card . Now waiting for the credit to arrived ( amex email received 2 mins after HN purchase )

Well, given these single merchant promotions are typically funded by the merchant, it will depend on whether it achieved their objectives or not. One way or another, it's probably funded by the actual franchisees which is why you'll see some pushback from some of them.

This deal is running long enough. Frankly I was surprised to find out last week HN still sell Vpays, after all they know very well why people are buying like crazy and yet decided to keep selling them.

Don't be too pessimistic, there will always be another deal around the corner and someone will find a way to exploit it to the max. It's a never-ending game businesses and consumers play.

Wait and see. I'm not sure buying vPay cards, transferring funds to Coles Mastercard and withdrawing cash is achieving Harvey Norman objectives unless theyare as stupid as Bankwest who continue to give away points months after closing accounts.

It's a little fiddly.

You load up your shopping cart and then press "create quote". You then get emailed a "quote" for the contents of your shopping cart. Follow the link in the email and select "pay" then "American Express" then enter your details and just enter "$60.00" in the "amount to pay" box.

Rinse and repeat 5 times to get the 5 credits.
