New Amex statement credits

We now have 6x $300 Coles Myer Gift Cards by using our 6 Amex cards at both Myers and First Choice liquor ....so we will be getting betwern 20 and 23% off our grocery shopping at Coles for next 6-12 months ...can't complain! Still deciding whether i want to return to Westfield for their gift cards given the unhelpfulness and rudeness I encountered last week....

That wonderful "Westfield" service would definitely spur me on to using every single card in my possession and then lining up the rest of the family for good measure - all while pondering exactly what picture to get each time. A copy of the offer T&Cs would be neatly folded in my pocket for good measure.

Finally I would ensure that I smiled politely and thanked them for their assistance.

Come to think of it, that's what happened on Friday and Saturday....

The sad part is this is how most businesses operate.

Insurance companies take peoples money and then try every trick possible to reduce the claim payout. This is humanity at its lowest form.

It's actually disgusting but let's not go there.

I had good experience with with AMEX Plat insurance.
Was nice to deal with a decent company for a change.

Picked up 7 * $150 Coles Myer cards at Myer Chatswood this morning - plenty of C-M cards remaining. Also bought 3 * $100 Westfield cards as one of the junior SydneySwans needs to buy a phone at JB Hi-Fi in Chatswood this afternoon. Received emails for all 10 purchases immediately.

I've done 3 as well.

Cancelled all 3 orders because at least 5 items taken from each order before scheduled pick up.

However all of the cash backs posted within 24 hrs. I expect them to be taken off me at some stage when the refunds are processed.

Yep frustrating. But there may be a bonus. They have posted the Woolworths Rewards points to my Everyday rewards account even though the orders were all cancelled - with some discount codes/other offers involved it was more than 4000 points for each cancelled purchase...I'm hoping they 'forget' to take those back

I have received 2 out of 5. Both Charge card spends have credited OK, but the Edge and Reserve spends have not.

I've sent them a secure message via OLB, although the only category that vaguely fitted my enquiry was 'Complaints'.

Myer credits and mobile credits received. The mobile credits were actually marked as Myer so there was a 35 and a 10. Still no sign of Westfield credits.

Waiting for my QF credit but the spend still shows as pending so I'm guessing it will be a few days.
VM credit came through promptly last week which was nice; Giant Steps Syrah came down to $23/bottle.

Got my Myer, Mobile Wallet and Westfield credit over the last few days. Has been taking between 2-4 days for them to appear which is quite good. Going to buy a couple more Westfield XS but larger value as $100 at a time is painful. Might not maximize this offer but a cool new payment feature so I can extend the use of Amex where it's not accepted or surcharged outside of Westfield centers. Promotion seems to have worked in getting me as a customer
