New Amex statement credits

Re: Finally something reasonable

Mrs SydneySwan has spend 100 get 25 at the Iconic!

I got Spend 100 get 25 too - on both cards (Amex Plat Charge and Amex QF Ultimate)

Harris Farm offer also applied to both cards. Easy when it's your local supermarket :D

Re: Finally something reasonable

Harris Farm offer and the recent Amex acceptance will mean extra shopping there for us

Re: Finally something reasonable

First time I've used a bank Amex for the offers and it's a clumsy affair compared to Amex-issued cards

Re: Finally something reasonable

If you have a DJ amex , spend $50 online get $25 credit , first 1000 cards .

Re: Topshop/topman

Two new offers - Review spend 150 / 20 back, Target Online spend 100 / 20 back. Amex offers getting very lame these days.

Re: Topshop/topman

Target might not be bad depending on what you're interested in - Lego's currently 20% off and add to this. Then again a week ago it was 20% off plus another 20% stackable but they've since fixed this fault otherwise some bargain Lego's.

Re: Topshop/topman

i am wondering if i can get gift cards

I had the same thought. A $100 Coles Myer gift card at 20% discount is good to have, but won't work due it being an online offer only.

I must say the Amex card offers at the moment are all a bag of ****e! Mostly hotel offers or minor discounts, no decent cash back offers.

Re: Topshop/topman

I've finally started getting some offers on my relatively new Platinum Edge card:

DJ's - Spend $50 to get $15..... maybe

Telstra - Enrol for Direct Debit and get $20..... no-brainer :)

Target (online only) - Spend $30 to get $15..... maybe

Optus - Enrol for Direct Debit and get $20..... sorry, no Optus accounts here

And even though I haven't used it for three months, I still get numerous offers on my Qantas Discovery card, but mostly for places I've never heard of.

Re: Topshop/topman

Those are quite respectable offers. You will want to revert the Telstra DD back after first payment as I think it is only 0.5pts/$.

Yep, I normally pay it manually by PayPal / NAB Amex, for 1.5 points per dollar. Happy to forgo some points for $20 in this case. :)

My Telstra bill includes my Foxtel service (don't ask....:-|), so it's around the $103 mark per month.

Re: Topshop/topman

I also grabbed the $20 6 months ago but changed back after first payment showed disappointing points.

Re: Topshop/topman

Good one at the moment for people wanting to book hotels:
Hotelclub spend $200 get $40 back.
