New Amex statement credits

I have purchased with both Amex & Banked issued cards and haven't got anything yet. Purchases made last Friday (2/12) & Saturday (3/12).

Getting a bit worried about my amex-issued ones crediting for the westfield one. Want to close the card soon...

For those pining for something extra from the now finished DJ promo, Rewardle are offering a bonus $10 egift card on the purchase of a $100 egift card. Stack it with a Westfield card...

Unfortunately, my closest Westfield insisted on photo ID when i tried to buy GCs last week...I had my mum's passport scanned on my phone but the sales woman sarcastically said that my mum had tio be physically present to use her Amex card...so I walked away and didn't buy any GCs that day!...but as someone up post said that would make him more determined to screw Westfield (or is it Amex) and take maximum advantage of this offer including requesting $97.05 be placed on the Red gift card!!

Wow that's terrible. I'm tearing my +1 cards like they are mine shopping with them everywhere :D Bought 1st Choice gift cards today and saw the lady at counter looking funny at me when I swiped two identical cards with different pins but didn't say anything.

On a more positive note, all credits from Westfield and Mayer posted today including extra $10 for the latter.

The pretty generous Freedom offer already fully subscribed-the game's gotten faster

From some reports, the Freedom offer was fully subscribed before the Kikki.K one did which I find it strange.

Dropped by my local Freedom store today and I was like they needed more than $80 per $200 spend to entice me spending there, it was simply a little expensive for what's on offer.

Looks like there might be an issue with statement credit for those who spent at Westfield too early ie Dec 1-3. Sent my supp to buy early this week and got the credits fast (email as well). Talked to live chat and the agent requested the credits manually. Credits showed up this morning. I spent all at Westfield Sydney but one of the credits is Westfield Hurstville.

Since the offer is still showing as Saved to Card, wonder if I could still take advantage of it :P

What do you mean too early? The only eligibility criteria state that a purchase or purchases totaling at least $100 have to be spent by 24/12/16. This isn't shop small where they have a promo period and give you the information before the period starts.

I meant there was a glitch on the first few days after the promo started. That's why people spending at Westfield around Dec 1-3 or possibly 4 as well did not get any emails or credits until now while the credits already showed up if they spent on or after Dec 5.

Someone on OZbargain posted this message from Amex

You'll be glad to know that I have immediately issued two credits of $25.00 to your account for both the Cards. You will be able to view the credits within 3-5 working days. I hope this puts your concern to rest and brings a smile to your face.

Generally the statement credits are automatically issued within 5 business days from the spend date. However, sometimes there is an issue with the merchant registrations due to which the system does not detect the eligible charge and hence the credit is not automatically applied to the account. You should not worry at all as we have already taken care of this matter for you.

I made my Westfield purchases on the 1st Dec and didn't get the emails or credits. I have contacted Amex via secure message to get the credits applied. All other offers in the past week have come through without issue

Heard there were only a few Westfields ie Burwood, Liverpool, Marion etc that people got emails and credits from purchase during dec 1-3. Maybe Amex will start crediting them later but I didn't want to wait considering I already got the credits 2 days later for purchase on Dec 5. I had an issue with statement credit from Amex before and don't trust the system.

My purchases were made online.

Amex were quick with my email:

Thank you for using Amex Offers with your Card ending 42008 at LANGTONS RICHMOND - C500. If your purchase meets the offer terms, you will receive a $150.00 credit. Credits usually take 5 days to appear on your account upon completion of your qualifying transaction, but may take up to 90 days after the offer has ended.

Now to look at what others I can utilise...
