New Amex statement credits

Four targeted offeres received this morning via email to QF Ultimate primary card:

Some of them seem to be repeats of similar offers for last year and it's a very new account, so maybe they had an agreement with HN etc to repeat the offer to new cardmembers when they come on board.

Have none of those offers on Amex-issued or bank-issued cards. They're probably for new accounts only.

Interesting that I get different ads on AFF depending on if I am logged in or not (they change to ads for QF but I am still using the same tablet, browser and connection) and when I log back in again, the original ads for Amex etc come back.

All fixed with AFF Gold membership. Sign up and the ads are gone and I am sure admin has a deal. :)

Finally used my Dan's Spend $50 get $10 credit - with a spend of $50.90

Thank you for using Amex Offers with your Card ending xx_xx at DAN MURPHY'S ONLINE. If your purchase meets the offer terms, you will receive a $10.00 credit. Credits usually take 5 days to appear on your account upon completion of your qualifying transaction, but may take up to 90 days after the offer has ended.

Looks like Uncle Dan may have gotten smarter, tried pay for that $50 e-giftcard couple of times but it keep being declined. Bought an actual bottle of plonk and voila, it went through without a hitch.

New offer on my Explorer (also on all supps and amexconnect)

Luxury Escapes
Spend $300 or more, get $60 back
Save the offer to your Card and spend $300 or more, in one or more transactions, online only at www.luxuryescapes.com by 14/04/2017 to receive one $60 credit. Limited to the first 15000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

I don't follow. Them getting smarter would be Amex not awarding the $10 Cashback, but still taking the payment.

I suspect some other glitch as you should be able to purchase e-gift cards with a cc.

I got this for all 6 cards. We might be able to make use of it but I believe you can't split payment across multiple cards.

I had no problems last week. You could always go into the store.

Not an option with this offer unfortunately, the purchases have to be online in order to qualify.

Several people on OzBargain reported that they had issues with DM e-giftcard payments being rejected and/or not processing. I didn't have any problems on the Dan Murphy site, but on the other hand I've never been able to get either of my Amex cards to work with the WW Online site (which I'm hoping might be fixed now, but not rushing to find out as I always shop in-store at WW anyway - only ever tried to use WW Online for Amex offers).

Just bought 3 DM egiftcards online. Notification received for each that I would receive $10 cashback.
