You should cancel your card and use this as the reason. It's the reason I'm about to give.

Finally got a response. It's basically blah blah blah use Amexconnect then blah blah blah try pay off your closing balance in full which may affect your chance. I pay it off every single month. Talk about clutching straws there Amex rather than actually go have a look at what's wrong with my account.

So basically if it's not on Amexconnect then you're at the mercy of this targeted offer lottery.

With the Harrisfarm promo - spend $120 get $50 back, my $135 order ended up being $105. My order was delivered today, (card charged last Sunday for $135, and I already got the cashback). I am expecting them to refund $20 due to my items being smaller size when it came to picking. I purposely ordered $15 over the threshold expecting this to happen, but not to such a large extent! The promo ends tomorrow, and the refund will probably come in a few days, will my $50 get clawed back by amex?

Should be fine. They usually only take it back if the refund is the same amount as the purchase.

When I've return items to Harvey Norman they have taken back the cashback benefit.
