It is actually the same cashback than the last offer but for a lesser spend. This is 300 / 50 whilst the last offer was 350 / 50.

Yeah, I was referring to one a year or so ago which was 700/100 or thereabouts.

Is there a way to split payment to 2 cards . Looking at Asia Sales some ticket going for $600 plus . Would be great if we can split payment to 2 x $300 to get 2 x $50 cashback .

Will buying 2 GV of $300 each work ?

Yep. Not on any of my "old" cards. The "welcome offer" is true to its word!
Although one supp new card did not get it, go figure.

Interesting. That directly contradicts the General Terms for both Qantas Gift Vouchers and Qantas Customer Care Vouchers:-

Only one voucher can be redeemed per booking.

Vouchers can be redeemed online at qantas.com/giftvouchers or through Qantas Contact Centres on 13 13 13. A booking fee applies to redemptions through Qantas Contact Centres.

Potentially useful to know, though one wonders how many phone agents would be accommodating.
