New Amex statement credits

Thanks. That's a good development. I remember reading on their website in the past that you can only use one GC per booking. Makes the current Mexico escape offer pretty decent

Merivale offer. Spend $100, get $25 back.

'Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $100 or more in one transaction, in-person only at Merivale by 08/02/2019 to receive one $25 credit. Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer.'

I remember buying gift cards before with this same offer and using them at their bottle shop.

Have some issues with the ethics of this group regarding their work conditions for their employees so don’t spend at their venues, but thank you for posting!

Thanks. I am glad to see others also don't spend with them. I have seen first hand the long lasting consequences of appalling treatment of a vulnerable young worker.

Some new offers;

Sydney trains, ferries & light rail - 30% back up to $25
Aveda Online - 75/15
Helloworld Travel - 350 / 50

Sydney trains could be useful though you dont get any of the "other" Opal benefits.

Not entirely true - you do get the daily, weekly, Sunday cap benefits, etc. From the t&c;

Opal daily, weekly and Sunday travel caps are also applied, however other Opal benefits (including, but not limited to, off-peak train fare discounts and weekly travel rewards) are not available with contactless payments.

You can use multiple gift cards for the same booking. In fact, when you redeem a gift card you get "Luxury Escapes Credits" which is just the money value of your gift card. So you can redeem all the gift cards you have, they accumulate as credits in your account, and you can later spend them all in one transaction/booking.

To do that, you can just put anything in your cart, go to the checkout page, redeem the first gift card, then refresh the checkout page, and redeem again. Repeat that as many times as you want, and all the credit will accumulate in your account. If you don't finish the purchase, you'll just have all the credits in your account, available for a future booking.

There will be a new "stand-alone" redemption process in the near future, so you won't even need to put something in your cart before redeeming the gift card. It will be easier to redeem multiple ones.

From OzB, you will be able to redeem multiple giftcards.

On another note, a $40 click & collect order had $30 of OOS items. Free $10 worth of toilet cleaning liquid :)

Thanks, just added 26 x $300 Luxury Escapes Gift Vouchers to my account by doing exactly what was quoted above.
My account now has a nice $7800 of credit in there, which I will use for my honeymoon in Dec 2019 / Jan 2020 in Europe. If this is not enough, I'll just jump onto Domayne's website before the end of this month and get some topups that way.
Add on Cashrewards and QFF points and this is a winner.

Just hope LE doesn't go belly up in the interim. No actual reason to believe it would, but that kind of thing would make me nervous.
