New Amex statement credits

  • Credit will be applied to your Card Account after 30/06/2019. You should receive your credit by 31/07/2019, but it may take up to 90 days from the offer end date. If you have not received your Credit by 31/07/2019 please contact American Express.
Will have to remember to go back and check that the credit gets applied.

I've used both the Chemist Warehouse and the Harvey Norman offer in the last two weeks and both the credits applied after a few days as usual. The T&C's have always given them quite a few weeks to potentially wait but it's normally pretty brisk once the transaction has settled.

Far better to say a few weeks and take a couple of days than vice versa!

The T&C for the Chemist Warehouse offer were different than most others when I went back to check. Others were still saying "probably within 5 days" or whatever, but Chemist Warehouse definitely said "after 30/06 and by 31/07" or similar.

I have received cashback on a TGI Friday's meal from Saturday, but not yet on a Chemist Warehouse transaction from well over a week ago (although it shows as "redeemed" in the app).

This one was so randomly targetted, at least from my perspective.

Reports of ppl getting it on their Edge, but not on mine.

My wife got it on her Vel Plat, but not on mine,

Her mum's supp to that card got it too, but yep, not on mine....

At least the OzBargaining of these things remains predictable.
 
The SydneySwan family has 12 cards between us. We got the Woolworths offer on none of the cards!

Offer Terms
Excludes all payments made at Harvey Norman Big Buys, Harvey Norman Commercial Division, Harvey Norman Insurance Replacement Division, Harvey Norman Security and Domayne locations.

So is spend at " HARVEY NORMAN AT DOMAYN NORTH RYDE " excluded from this offer? Shame if it is as it is my closest HN!

I got caught by this about a year ago in Domayne Belrose. A workaround I have used since is to buy eGiftcards online

Seems to mainly be Chatswood and North but worth enrolling.
