New Amex statement credits

I received a 250/50 Amex travel offer on my Reserve. Its a card that is used less frequently since devaluation

I got this on my Edge and its supps.

I can't see any exclusions, other than flights and cruises, and the usual third-party/phone payments, for specific brands. Must be something to do with the higher spend/credit?
I think it is to do with the Plat Charge card rather than the spend level.

I wonder if the Explorer $400 travel credit would also trigger this promo? Technically you are spending money on your card, it just happens to be preloaded as a benefit of the card. I couldn’t see any T&C exclusion.

Got the travel cashback on Plat and Altitude, my +1 got it on Explorer. The 250/50 will be easy to use either on hotels and car hire but the 650/100 is a bit more challenging with all the exclusions.

I got the Plat $650/$100 version of the offer and it expressly excluded that. Something along the lines of "You can pay partially with Membership Rewards points and/or travel credit, but the actual amount charged to the card needs to meet the spend target."

Received higher spend target, $650 for $100 back on Plat Charge. There are a lot of exclusions, including Fine Hotels and Resorts, flights etc, so am not sure I will use it.
I don't think the FHR exclusion really devalues it, since FHR is always paid in-person to the hotel and not to Amex.

so that would mean spend say 850 less 200 travel credit so 650 ok for extra 100 im good with that i got hat deal on my plat charge and all supplementary charge cards
