New Amex statement credits

They must have sensed I was about to cancel the Explorer ... got the QF offer on it.

Spend 2,700 for 500 points on my Gold card.

Ume Burger - 20 / 10
NGV Restaurants - 20 / 10 (credit available twice).

Still hoping the QF offer turns up on a couple of my cards as have a couple of flights to book.

Love this offer. Buy gift cards @ $300 each and load them into your LE account ready for when the ideal deal comes along. Can use Cashrewards too.

Only have one card at present. Do these LE cashbacks come up regularly?

Twice a year I think. The giftcards used to be done through a 3rd party site though. An enhancement win for us! Although there's no $300 gc option, so must purchase two gcs (or a $500+ one!!).

Previously you could buy LE giftcards at Harvey Normans which have their own offers (about twice a year historically)

I swear I bought $300 cards the last time the offer was on. I think they've removed that option / that option expired as I remember the option appeared shortly after the commencement of the previous offer. Fingers crosses the developers @ LE re-activate that $300 option again!

How do the gift cards work? Are they just applied as credit to the account or do you get emailed a code you use on checkout? Are you able to use multiple gift cards with a single purchase or is it like the AmEx Travel credits where you can only use one at a time?

It looks like there's pretty decent offering in there.

You get emailed a code (16 characters long IIRC), which you can apply at checkout (choose any random deal, go all the way to checkout and enter the code). For the highest level of efficiency, pick a deal that's outrageously expensive, whose complete value is not going to be covered by all the gift cards you have.
Each time you type in a new gift card code, it applies the amount as a credit to your account.
You can therefore exit checkout, now with $x of credit added to your account, able to be used for whatever deal you so desire!

How long till they expire once added to your account?
I was looking at saving a few towards a booking but couldn't find how long till they expire

Received higher spend target, $650 for $100 back on Plat Charge. There are a lot of exclusions, including Fine Hotels and Resorts, flights etc, so am not sure I will use it.
I got this the 250/50 on my Edge and its supps.

I can't see any exclusions, other than flights and cruises, and the usual third-party/phone payments, for specific brands. Must be something to do with the higher spend/credit?

Edit: clarification of offer
