New Amex statement credits

Amex Travel one is turning up on supp cards too.

Interesting question though. One of the terms is

Given you can pre-pay now with FHR, I wonder if that would trigger it or not?

If you book via Amex Travel payment is to them. Not the hotel.
So will only trigger if payment is to Amex.

Well in that case it's looking positive. This was a booking where I booked pre-paid through FHR and used an Amex Travel credit.

Received Telstra spend $300 in one or more transaction by 31st Dec, get $80 on two Business cards.

I've already made good use of the recent Placie offer. (Placie is the app through which you can book taxis and Ola.)
Spend $20, get $20 back is easy when a typical cab fare for me is $21-24. With the offer, it's like paying for the bus, but getting driven door to door. Can't complain, especially as I got the same offer a few months back. :D

Shop small has landed on the QF U Amex, though not on the supplementary card:

Save the offer to your eligible Card and get 3 extra Qantas Points per $1 spent, in-store or online at participating Shop Small businesses by 31/03/2022, up to a maximum of 40,000 extra Points. Exclusions apply.

I for one love this wide open window. Have had a look around, one of my favourite japanese places is listed, unfortunately my local coffee shop uses square else they'd get even more attention from me.

Altogether in a month or so of having the Amex QFU Open we have had a few points bonuses:

Shop small - 3 extra points per $, up to to 40k
BP - 10 bonus points per $ up to 2k
Liqourland/First Choice/Vintage cellars - 10 bonus per $ up to 2k
Uber 10 bonus points per $ up to 2k

And cashbacks:

QT Hotels - $300 / $60
Dell $900/$100
Hilton $400/$80
Optus $100/$5
JB / Good Guys $100/$10
David Jones $100/$10
Menulog $30/$5
Rydges $300/$60
Amex Travel $300/$100
Cotton on $100/$10
Woolworths $50/$5 x2

And over on the supplementary card:
Cotton on $100/$10
Optus $100/$5
Woolworths $50/$5 /x2
David Jones $100/$10

A number of these I'll be spending at anyway, so it works out pretty well!

I think Square Merchants (at least the ones I’ve paid at) all earn shop small bonus.
I'll check again and verify. Unless something real funky is going on I'd imagine my local is certainly classed as a small business - perhaps it's not auto-enrol like I had assumed.

Yep - all Square merchants are supposed to be eligible for shop small bonus earn.

Trying to reverse engineer it but I think it looks like the first coffee after I registered for shop small the other day has credited with 3 bonus points per $. This is good.

7-Eleven - get 10 bonus Velocity points per $1 spent up to 2000 bonus points
Is there a way you can tell how many points you received in a particular transaction??

I shopped at 7-11 on fuel & wandering if I received the 10x points (I understand it was an "in-store" promo & possibly excluding fuel purchase)
Same deal for the 3x points Small Shop, how do you know your really getting the points.

I couldn't keep track of the points tally as obviously it moves each day you transact.
Statement only shows transaction & $$ value.

Not overly fussed, more interested than anything.

Thanks in advance.
