New Amex statement credits

I dined at Ash Street Cellar. Didn’t get the email but did see the credit on my statement.

I used the balance of my credit at another establishment but with the Merivale group and got the email instantly and the credit appeared.

As long as the credits appear, I’m happy :)

I made a booking at Mr. Wong (Sydney CBD) and had to made a non-refundable deposit payment of $100pp to secure the booking online . The transaction appeared as a Merivale charge and I received the statement credit (even before the dining experience scheduled mid Dec!)

Nada here....I sense a pattern with Amex...if you use an offer previously esp with all the supps as well, you are less likely to get the Offer again. :(

Another worrying trend is that the Black Friday deal was only loaded on one of my multiple primaries, other AFF members reported the same. If Amex start doing this regularly I'll go back to the 18 month churn cycle.

It seems the logo-less offers (the ones with more generic icons, rather than brand logos) are often only loaded onto the primary card, as I believe AMEX funds the cashback rather than the merchant. The Black Friday deal was one such 'icon' offer.

As long as they still honour them. My Red Energy offer also disappeared. I finally got round to signing up today. Has anyone already paid their Red Energy bill and not received their credit? Can you please remind me what the offer was again?

@albyd Nice Red Energy double-dip with the Qantas offer for bonus points currently available too

I was hoping the SC offer would come back but might just sign up anyway and get closer to Points Club
