New Amex statement credits

You get free drinks on Monday and Tuesday nights in the scum class. I'll be there next Tuesday and intend to get my free drink!

Well spotted. I stopped reading too early. Scum class AFF meetup next Tuesday?

PSA for anyone in Sydney visiting Vivid.

I went to Vivid tonight with Mrs SS and we popped into the Amex Lounge at the OPT. We are scum class Amex members as all our cards are 'free' cards but upon entry we were each given a free drinks voucher for one drink up to $20. The Amex blurb suggests that the free drinks are for Centurion and Platinum w-----s only.

YMMV and if I shouldn't be telling you all this then just keep it to yourself.
It's because they give them out to scum class on Mondays and Tuesdays. It's why I also went last night haha (for the complimentary drink and live music).

Saw someone who thought they had a Platinum card get escorted to the non-Platinum/Centurion line ...

$50 statement credit offered and received for Platinum Edge and Qantas Ultimate cards
Applied last week, received credit within 24 hours and cards received today.
TYVM for the free $100 and plan on closing Platinum Edge tomorrow

Did your credit arrive? I’m two weeks on from a stay and nothing back so far.
Finally received my IHG $85 cash back. I noticed yesterday that the IHG offer had moved to “Recently used” category in my offers - a good sign. The cashback posted today but dated 6 June. The single hotel charge is dated 24May but it took a few days to clear.

I received the remaining DMO credits overnight, some for spend dating back to May 14. Also received BPME credit for spend on June 4 and yesterday actually received an Amex credit email within seconds of spend at Sushi Hub.

Perhaps things are returning to normal at Amex.

Still waiting for spends from May 4, 5, 12 and 21 across three different cards.

I spent $310 at Monopole on the 12th which would have maxed out my $25 credit cap. Instead, I get credited $15.86 for spending $188 at Africola on the 19th, which was credited AFTER my spend at Portside on the 27th (which I got credited for).

Worst DMO ever. Not sure if it's due to the payment systems being used/change in payment systems (e.g. some use Square terminals like Crack Kitchen; still waiting for that credit to show up ...)

I got my DMO credits in reverse order of spend…

None of my DMO purchases used Square. I think that certainly helps.

At least I can put to good use the zillion pairs of sneakers I now have on these exercise offers lol

Have to admit though, i know a few people who would jump at this Peloton offer.
