New Amex statement credits

When you say registered in. Do you mean registered for this promo? Or just what Amex has on file as your home address?
Presumably you registered home address.

Some of my offers were very close to home. A bunch of Sydney restaurants and a few in BNE. Not sure about MEL - I haven’t looked too closely at how many restaurants listed have multiple city sites. Otto was listed twice (Sydney and Brisbane).

My offers have no bearing on location, all of them on the other side of the coathanger and mostly for amounts I draw a sharp breath.

EDIT: And OTTO Brisbane @SYD. Bellvue Hill Bottle Shop (300/45) was an interesting one but still GI for me.

All in all I have very uninspiring offers this month.

I can walk there and pass about 20 other bottle’os on the way. So pass.

Certainly no difficultly hitting the min spend in most places. I imagine the bread, olives and one entree will get you there at Otto…! 😂

Also another Sydneysider who got a smattering of Brisbane locations.

Where are the Melbourne restaurants? I could easily rack up $100 at Gimlet on my own

Does anyone else have a membership boost under these offers to "add an additional card with a loved one" for 15,000 points - Qantas Ultimate Card
Whenever someone asks for a referral I always mention they should not immediately apply for supplemental cards until Amex contact them offering an additional card, and then only taking up just one card. Amex will contact you periodically to take up more additional cards and each time you take up just the one card for the bonus points. I've never had the courage to sign the pets up like some AFF members. ;)

Funny you mention that, I've signed up the same family member (i.e., not a pet lol) multiple times after Amex confirmed it was fine to do this. However first, I made sure that this family member had all previous supp cards cancelled, and I then wait at least a few months before signing them up again.

But yes, the key message here is to first confirm with Amex.

Been hit with a tsunami of restaurant offers in Brisbane and Sydney too, along with a couple in Melbourne (where I live).

I'm heading to Sydney this weekend and I thought perhaps they were targeted as I'd put all of the trip purchases on the card, but looking at other posts it's ostensibly co-incidental.

Appears there are varying amounts - mine is 600 / 150
$500* / $100 here on my Biz card but not on my Gold CC. Avis on both.

*Hotel or Rental Car spend only.
