Qantas Hotels refundable bookings can also be refunded to a credit voucher.

Use of credit voucher​

++ The credit voucher can only be used towards part, or full payment of hotel bookings through qantas.com and excludes Airbnb bookings. If there is a balance remaining to be paid for your booking, you must pay this balance with a credit/charge card. The credit voucher must be used within 3 years from the date of issue, or it will expire. Credit vouchers are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. Credit vouchers may be transferred, but are not valid if sold. If you cancel a booking that was paid for with a credit voucher, a replacement credit voucher will be issued for the refundable amount. Availability of credit vouchers is at the sole discretion of Qantas Hotels, and Qantas Hotels may refuse to issue, or otherwise cancel, a credit voucher and deduct all associated bonus Qantas Points for cancelled vouchers, where it reasonably believes the customer is abusing or misusing the credit voucher offer, these terms and conditions, or the Qantas Frequent Flyer terms and conditions.​

Not in my experience, although I've always wondered about it. Perhaps a skilled rep may be able to add the award flights to your GC PNR as a "change"?

Also worth noting that the GC T&C say you can only use on ex-Aus flights.

Mine earlier in the month had this wording:

– Before booking, ensure you check the latest travel restrictions and important information.
– Additional Cards are not eligible for this offer.
– Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
– Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, at Qantas at www.qantas.com/au/en.html. Offer valid at Australian website only.
– Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
– Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
– Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.

Does the QF Hotel credit voucher have to be used in one booking? That is, if the credit voucher is for, say $500, can it be used in two bookings of $250 each?
