I noticed that Amex had an Elevate Velocity card as well. So I rang Amex up and arranged a swap from QFF to Velocity. Kept the same card(s) and didn’t have to go through the application process. Still 1/1 points. I figure if circumstances change I can always change back to QFF.
As an aside also changed my Amplify Card rewards from QFF to Amplify , which I can convert to VA 2/1 or KF 3/1. Can easily keep the QFF active by trickling a few points from EDR and AIRBNB.

It is hard to know. Certainly the Ampol offers have worked like that in the past. Someone needs to take one for the team.

$60 sunnies an DJs I needed. Remembered at counter a $10 GC email from DJ rewards because they (apparently) missed me. $50 charged to AMEX and email for credit came through a minute later. Good win

My Amazon offer finishes on Sunday so I have put together a shopping list of tools I need, then realised a needed to add a new glass lemon squeeze. Lost the old one in the move, ... well it will be in a box somewhere. Just easier to buy a new one.
