How is this different to #1101 (which is just a few messages above your post)?

New offer today from a company called Mimco - spend $150, get $25 credit.

I have never heard of them but my SWMBO tells me they sell ladies accessories.

Mimco is very much SWMBO territory. Given their prices, hitting the minimum spend would not be difficult ;).

Read on a blog from a few years ago that someone put multiple $50 donations separately and got 1,000 points each time.

It was a big thing for quite a few years. They were happy to give out multiple lots of points because they got so many donations. I just missed out by a few days as it had been extended quite a few times and everyone expected it again.

Does anyone know if this can be done for multiple lots of points?

T&Cs on this one suggest not. The old MS one did and was a better point/$ yield especially if higher rate tax
Apparently some people thought it unethical to earn points from charity but to my mind it was winners all round (except the ATO)

From memory the $150 donation to MS earned 5000 MR points and could be done 3 times every 24 hrs per Amex card.

Tax deductability on the highest rate made this quite an attractive propostion whilst the current offer pales in comparison.

I recall it being slightly better proposition than even that, but not certain. Either way, this one is no where near as good.

Lots of new offers today;

Harvey Norman spend 350, 50 back
Witchery spend 50, 10 back
Trenery spend 140, 40 back
T2 spend 10, 5 back
The Co-Op spend 50, 10 back
Karen Millen spend 200, 50 back
Bobbi Brown online spend 75, 15 back
La Mer online spend 100, 20 back.

I must admit I haven't heard of all of these stores.

Most of those would interest SWMBO, I fear.
