New Amex statement credits

Thanks for posting your experience @boomy. Do you remember if in the multiple transactions scenario, did the offer remain in the "Saved Offers" section or did it move to the "Savings" tab?

For both Hilton and Pelago single and multiple transactions there were no email confirmation and offers remained in the saved offers section until cashback posted. Had similar experience with the recent Nespresso offer so it seems we shouldn’t expect email confirmations anymore.

Came to ask if others having issues with active hotel cashback offers on the Qantas Ultimate, looks like yes

I had some initial IHG spend a couple of weeks back that was <$350 all up, but last week's stay for over $500 hasn't triggered the expected $70 cash back either. I'll have to keep an eye on this.

It took me about a week to get my $70. No e-mail trigger

Speaking of offers coming through, has anyone had any recent experience with the Aussie dining credit on Amex Platinum? Went to an eligible restaurant last weekend (so 9 days ago now) but no sign of anything happening with the credit as yet (hadn't moved to 'recently redeemed', no email, no money back). I remember that last time I used the overseas credit the offer credit never came through until I sent Amex the restaurant receipt and they processed it manually.

I just visited one on Friday and have had the same experience but only a few days in so keen to hear how you go

I had to use chat through app to follow up about an international dining credit since T&C's put usual credit period at 5 business days.
They confirmed and my credit popped up a day or two later.

So does this mean I just need to spend $3000 in total to receive all the bonuses, or do they need to be three transactions above $1000?
To answer my own question, apparently the answer is yes.

I made a $1400 transaction and a $2700 transaction and got 10,000 points credited and 20,000 points credited.

$200 credit after dining several months ago at Otto, Brisbane, came through within about 3 days, unprompted. Similar experience when used at a restaurant in NZ before that.

Mine came through overnight (3 days)

I posted mine previously. Worked 1 time out of 4 in Aus. Useless.
The dining credit is ending this year so will be interesting to see what we get instead

Appears that my Delicious Month Out rebates were never provided.

Jumped on chat last night to follow them up, and was told that none of the restaurants visited were eligible for the offer. Bullshit, I searched the map and specifically picked restaurants that were participating.

Rep claims that they're not on the map, so not eligible. Had to explain that the map only shows current offers. The restaurants aren't going to be on the map for an offer that ended several months ago.

After a bit of arguing they've agreed to "escalate" the matter, with a decision in 14 days.

Yeah this offer never works properly for me as well. Guess we'll have to screenshot the map of each restaurant we dined at for 2025 lest we don't get our statement credit, again ...

I have the spend $1000 get 10000 points, so I went to Coles on 08 morning to buy gift cards, 10000 points credit dated as 10, so 3 days really. I did not get any e-mail, so e-mail confirmation after a transaction doesn't seem to be a thing anymore.

Wait on, I thought that promo was for restaurants listed on a PDF, which was linked to from within terms and conditions?

From memory, it was a list of specific restaurants, not any restaurant on a map?

For example, right now, there is:

Spend $100 or more, get 15%, each time
Wine, Dine, and Shop Online - Get 15% Back Each Time

You go into T&C section, there is a PDF:

That's not what andyrb and I are talking about. We're talking about AEDMO or American Express Delicious Month Out, which takes place in May.

Yeah, I thought Delicious Month was also in this PDF format, I remember I looked into it, and the list of merchants was very small, that's why I'm wondering if it was also in this PDF format. I am finding most of these promotions from AmEx are now in this PDF format, with a very restrictive list of merchants

I got a email notification for this spend.

The store even had those little ads stuck around their POS register.

Maybe they haven't bothered to take it off?

Oh yeah you are right. Now I remember why I kinda ignored it, because it also had a list on this page, and as a sydneysider, the first one I saw was Catalina, and I was like 'meah'. Didn't pay anymore attention.
