New Amex statement credits

I wonder if ambulance insurance would be the go. I already have it my own fund but HCF sells it for from only 90 cents per week. perhaps you can split the transaction into weeks or perhaps insure various members of your family for only week each on individual policies ........ Not sure of the ethics of messing around with HCF as I think they are not-for-profit. Probably wouldn't think twice if it was Medibank.

I await news on andye receiving his credit.

Just noticed that for travel, you leave the HCF site and end up buying from QBE. Guessing a travel insurance purchase won't trigger the statement credit.. ;(

Mid year offer - spend 100 for 30 credit up to 3 times at various stores from Kennnards, Dymocks, Cue, Shoe Warehouse, Bose, Belrose Hotel, etc. - a real mixture, about 30 in total.

Note to Amex - need another Dan Murphys offer as finished the last lot of gift cards and can't shop at Woolworths without them.

I wonder if my local Bose store will allow me to buy a set of the new QC35 headphones in mutiple transactions (will have to use multiple AMEX unfortunately as only one purchase per merchant)?

Quite a Sydney centric list. Must be Qantas approved.

A sale is a sale - just do not go at a busy time. Can you do it online?

I bought a car once on the condition that it was across 3 different card. I reckon Bose will do it easily.

I've never had a problem getting merchants to split payment across a number of cards for Shop Small so I'm assuming you should be fine unless you find someone who doesn't know how to do it on the till and can't be bothered to help.

Just tried pet insurance but they offer visa or mastercard only. I guess you could go instore and ask each person if you wanted to pay 15 bucks say per card on their health insurance

New statement credits

Great minds think alike - I was back in my original post adding the link (at the bottom) when you posted :D ;)

In case some struggle seeing the link in the post, try here: https://www.americanexpress.com/au/...d=NwL2KJ&om_mid=_BXX4Y3B9OfS8vU&om_lid=amex19

Thank you!

The T&Cs are a bit disappointing though!

If my reading of them is correct.

The maximum amount you can get in credits across ALL the different merchants is 3 x $30 per registered card.

Life's tough when you can complain about only getting $90 back on $300 spending...

Latest offer:

BUDGET
Spend $150 or more, get $30 back
