Last offer was online only. I tried first with gift card and it didn't work. Gift card sales were processed by 'Online Consumer Gift Card Sales' whereas actual products were processed by 'Online Consumer Merchandise Sales'.

i didn't try a mixture of gift cards and products.

The only thing related to this in T&C is "Gift Card purchases and purchases made through concession stores in department stores; online aggregators such as PayPal or other retailers are excluded."

Could any one confirm from their experience?
