New Amex statement credits

For Dan Murphy's $50/$10 Online offer, did Amex send you email confirmation for each registered card? I registered 4 cards, but only received an email confirmation for the first.

Thanks

NC

Yes.

Every purchase I made was a separate transaction.

Received a separate confirmation + a separate invoice + a separate gift card.

I've booked two separate QF flights, one with the carbon neutral charge. There are 3 separate pending transactions but the flights are QANTAS AIRWAYS (E) and the carbon neutral charge is QANTAS AIRWAYS (M). Email received from Amex though so should be getting my 20% back.

Ugh. I think I may have stuffed up. Didn't get the email so went to check the T&C's again and it says only for flights departing from our within Australia (I booked a AKL-SYD) F class deal.

Spoke to call centre and they said they'll give it to me so hopefully I've lucked out.

Out of all my 6 cards got the BP offer only on the Explorer. Also got Woolworth Welcome Offer - $15 credit when spending $30 in-store or online until 31.10

If you are a genuine first time Woolworth online user you can combine with CashRewards https://www.cashrewards.com.au/woolworths-com-au

$32 off for "Reward payable for first time Woolworths Shoppers when spending a minimum of $120.00 on their first orders final basket size (after applicable discount, if any)."

There have been several reports on Ozbargain that it does NOT trigger statement credit as egift cards are issued by another provider.

sigh. my liver will hate my amex cards.

used up 3 * $10 statement credits for some orders.

order online and get 5% cash back via cashrewards and paid for the excess over $50 via gift card bought with 5% off from cashrewards.

pinching pennies.

But couldn't you "order online and get 5% cash back via cashrewards and paid for the excess over $50 via gift card bought with $50 in a previous Dan's transaction (with $10 cashback)"?

not sure. never bought a gift card. might have to give that a go next time.

CBA Amex accepting Dan ecard
Westpac Amex not going thru? Rang Westpac and nothing wrong with card?

I had this when there was a Woolworths Online Amex offer a while ago (I'd never shopped online with WW before), except the problem was my CBA Amex not going through. I tried several times but it kept coming up with the message that the payment "has been rejected by your bank". I contacted CBA twice and they confirmed there was nothing wrong with the card. Tried again a few more times but still wouldn't go through, so I eventually gave up in disgust.

Evidently cashback no longer works on giftcard purchase at Dans.
I wasn't referring to cashback but

Transaction 1 buy a giftcard for $50 on card 1, $10 back
Transaction 2 buy something for >=$100 via cashrewards, get 7% back, pay with $50 giftcard and the other $50 on another card, get another $10 back

Total $27 back
