I've mentioned this in Hilton thread but my T&Cs say one or more transactions. It says Giftcards and prepaid stays excluded-scuppers my idea of booking a succession of prepaid nights and then phoning to ask for them to be linked together. Unless the T&Cs lie of course

Yep, Aconnect clearly says one or more transactions.

Conflicting information which we can use to our advantage in case AMEX will not honour the offer.

Regarding prepaid stays, if you pay directly through the hotel $300 or more in one transaction for a number of future stays I think it should be ok with AMEX system.

Anyone know if it'd work for non-stays? eg dining at a restaurant in a Hilton property?

Don't need any stays in Hiltons, but could easily bring a few friends together and have a nice dinner!

From experience with previous AMEX offers anything should work as long as you pay on the same system as you would for your hotel stay. Most offers mention that gift cards are excluded but they always work anyway as Amex doesn't know what you are buying at the merchant, only that you spent money at that merchant. One or more transactions would suggest one could have a few dinners at a hilton to add up to $300.

Be careful with restaurants - they are often separate businesses. If you are a hotel guest you can sign to the room but if you are not they will charge you directly and their account may have nothing to do with Hilton so Amex won't identify it as a Hilton spend.

Registered 12 cards. Purchased 12 x $50 Dan's egift cards. 11 arrived within 2 hours. Hopefully the missing one turns up soon.

UPDATE: last one turned up an hour after the others. No idea why as they were all ordered at the same time. it may be that lots of others are also ordering at the same time :)

Have received all of my $10 credits for these.

I'm cleaning up on these offers - I need to be in Cairns one night a week for the next 7 weeks. Might rack up my first ever stay at a Hilton, Pullman and whatever else might pop up.
