New Amex statement credits

I am simply shocked with some of the amounts people spent on booze. Do people really drink that much?

Not me. I won't spend any of this at DM - all will be spent at Woollies either on groceries or OPAL top-ups.

As others have said, mine will all be used at Woolies. My booze cupboard* is full to the brim at the moment.

* generic term only that covers wine fridge, racks, shelves and anywhere else I can stash bottles.

No, we're collectors. Surprised though a few weeks back when I got notification to collect some orders from different BWS stores and I couldn't initially recall having ordered.

What else would you spend your money on? :p

Seriously now, as others said, you can also use Dans vouchers to pay for groceries at WW so you won't have to drink on empty stomach :D
What money? :p Surprisingly don't drink that much in Australia so the free alcohol is more than enough. But even if I did drink I wouldn't drink every day. Too old for that now.

So Woolworths for baby formula it is then....

BP - Spend 60 in one transaction, get 20 back, up to two times (received on Edge only).
AVIS - 5pts per dollar spent (can this be stacked with my other AVIS offer?) (received on Charge only).
My Wine Guy - 5pts per dollar spent (received on Charge only).

BP is targeted and so far I've been able to stack the points and credit offers together. I think the 5pts stuff is specific to plat charge.

Just checked I got the BP offer on all my cards that I rarely used but not on my work horse ones. Guessing it's targeted to get us to use those cards. Not complaining.

The BP offer is spend $60 twice to get $20 back, if I read it correctly.

You are correct on the interpretation when I reread the T&C -

  • Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $60 or more in one transaction, two times, in-store only at American Express accepting BP locations by 10/11/16 to receive one $20 credit. Limited to the first 7,500 Cards to save the offer.

People using cashrewards to GOTO to Dan website?
Does this include bank Amex?

I don't think it matters. What I have noticed this time though is that although my clicks to go to DM show in the click history, none of the purchases (all gcs which are supposed to be excluded from cashback anyway) have been recorded in the account so thus excluding them from cashback. This wasn't the case last time when some recorded and others didn't.

Wondering if can 'double-dip' on the Avis spend $200 get $50 back and also get 5 points per dollar.

I'm renting from them today and registered for both AMEX promos as well as 8 QF points per dollar offered on different promo.

Registered 12 cards. Purchased 12 x $50 Dan's egift cards. 11 arrived within 2 hours. Hopefully the missing one turns up soon.

UPDATE: last one turned up an hour after the others. No idea why as they were all ordered at the same time. it may be that lots of others are also ordering at the same time :)

For Dan Murphy's $50/$10 Online offer, did Amex send you email confirmation for each registered card? I registered 4 cards, but only received an email confirmation for the first.

Thanks
