New Amex statement credits

Sorry yep you're right not 50% but the spend 200 get 100, spend 300 get 150 etc, back across all the hotels.
Too many to name them all!
I was just worried that's all because it says Gift Card purchases and pre-paid online bookings are excluded.
So I was not sure pre paid actually means in this case
cheers!

Be warned about trying to redeem this. I placed a click and collect order and when I went to collect they told me some items were out of stock (which was a lie because I later saw them in the same shop). This meant the order total was less than $100.

Whilst i know that the $100 doesn't have to be spent in one order, because the order total fell to $92 it means I then have to place another new order. The minimum order for click and collect is $30. The result would be that I would have to spend $122 to get the $20. Certainly not as lucrative as the 20% discount on $100 spend.

Result was I refused to take delivery of the items and cancelled the entire order. Shop assistant was not pleased.

I had another go at this within the last 12 hours.

Collected tonight.

They appear to be hopeless on click and collect orders. Got another email 4 hours before pick up was due telling me 1 item was missing from my order and money would be refunded to my credit card. Order was still over $100 so I went ahead. Upon collection I found that that item was missing but two additional items were included instead and I haven't been charged for these.

No email from AMEX yet. And points also not showing in my Woolies rewards account.

Will be keeping a close eye on things to make sure everything tracks correctly.

I didn't get the email for a Woolies spend online today. Pickup tomorrow... we'll see how that goes.

From past experience, provided the merchant just refunds a portion of the value (like $5 or something), it won't impact on the Amex cashback.

I'm looking to use the Accor offer at the TSV Mercure a few times. If I book a $150 "pay at hotel" rate and then add $50 in room service, I should end up with a $200 bill at the end? Not sure if Mercure take payment at checkin or checkout?

This happened to me the one and only time I have used a WOW online offer. One item was out of stock and I was refunded but the Amex statement credit still came through for the initial recorded spend of over $100.

Helps if you learn to read.

I just paid for a 1 night Hilton stay on a different card as it earns more points.

Completely missed that "one or more transactions" line.

Qantas credit has landed as expected. Thanks to whoever posted about paying the fuel surcharge on one ticket to trigger a separate charge on the card. That worked a treat.

Same, same

What do you know... 1/3 of the Woolworths order out of stock (must be the beginning of the long rumoured national chicken breast shortage).

I didn't get emails for the recent $50 gift card purchases (2 only) from DM but the $10 statement credits turned up ok

Used up all my Dan's offers; gift cards and a cheeky bottle of Mumm Rose as $39 with cashback was too good to pass up.

Where are all these Dan's offers?

Did I miss the boat again?
