Appreciate the prompt reply mate.I think if it shows up in the rewards section you're fine. Mine also shows first initial.

I'm not sure if they used the term "conditional approval" but I definitely remember being asked for payslips immediately.Does anyone remember when they applied whether conditional approval was given when you applied online or do they review everything first before asking for payslips etc.
We're you an existing ANZ member?I'm not sure if they used the term "conditional approval" but I definitely remember being asked for payslips immediately.
Yes, I've had a number of ANZ cards over the years. We're you an existing ANZ member?
No. For all cards, qualifying spend means spend that earns points.I understand that ANZ don't give points for ATO payments, however are ATO payments regarded as qualifying spend for the sign-up bonus for the ANZ Black?
Great. Thanks for the clarification.No. For all cards, qualifying spend means spend that earns points.
Took 2 days for me and then a further 2 days to approve once docs sent. They wanted proof of additional income but did not question what I sent them.I applied on Monday (3rd time ANZ CC) and didn't get conditional approval, was not asked to upload documents. It said they would be in contact. I'm assuming this is because what I stated as open credit accounts do not match what I entered in the fields.
How long before they contact me, I wonder
ANZ CC assessment has become very risk averse and most times don't know what they want/asking for.ANZ rang to discuss my application and they asked me for the strangest thing. I previously supplied payslips that specify a number of paid parental leave hours each pay period. She seemed very confused. I told her that I was given 18 weeks paid paternity leave and I was taking it flexibly. Two blocks of leave and one day off per week for a year. She had to speak to her manager and after 5 minutes she got back to me and said she needed my employer to draft a letter that states that I am on parental leave and that I will return to full time work after.
I think this is very strange. So now I have to annoy the HR department with this nonsense
Bit of an odd one this time around... didn't get a conditional approval which is rare.
They called a few days later and asked for clarification of income. Seems the system at their end shows basically main income and other income (whereas the application process allows you to split it up). Eventually split up the rental income and overtime and it all added up so she seemed happy. Asks me to send payslips/statements to support. Heard nothing for a few days then someone else calls and asks exactly the same questions. Seems happy again and says they'll be in touch within 24 hours. Nothing is heard.
I planned to call and chase them up today however the card and welcome pack arrived. No text or email ever received confirming a successful application.
Every time I have closed a credit card, I have always received the points for all of the spending/transactions right up until the account is closed. The points have always come through in the usual cycle following closure. If we are closing the ANZ FF account, would we still get the points earned during the closure month? Anyone has ever experienced this?
I've got my bonus points and looking to close the account, but wondering if I should wait until the next statement before I close the account.
