So QF are are replacing domestic J with PE and DJ are planning on going in the other direction.
Have to wait and see what the DJ config looks like - they may do a similar thing.
I was more thinking about all those who bag DJ for only having domestic PE and not J. Perhaps they can afford to maintain their current offering if QF is lowering standards?
I seriously think QF have stuffed up with this one.
I suspect there might be a differentiated fleet for east coast A330s versus cross-country.
Less of an issue with that seat on SYD-MEL.
I think its reasonable to assume there will not be any middle seats in the DJ domestic business class cabin (if and when its introduced).Have to wait and see what the DJ config looks like - they may do a similar thing.

I thought it was discussed that the birds would not be coming from EKHave we worked out if the EK aircraft they are using will be totally refitted, or just minor changes?
What's the current layout on EK A330s?
2/3/2 according to seat expert for their 2 class A330s.
It seems like part of the issue is despite cramming in the extra seat in the middle block, the pitch remains the same. It may have been prudent to improve the pitch so the middle pax doesnt feel so hemmed in.
I was actually referring to the 737 fleet. Should have been more specific.Have we worked out if the EK aircraft they are using will be totally refitted, or just minor changes?
Surely this would only be on Trans-Con ATM due to the A380's being out of service?
Easiest way to tell that it's EBO is the full 2-3-2 in J, and row 58 being a full row rather than just being the middle seats as on the others.
For those who are curious, here's a seat map for what I believe is EBO:

What about j/y+/y on trans con flights? J seats could be ticketed as Dom F. (sc runs )
