The meeting rooms have been relocated
Speaking of meetings, now that the QC has been split into a QP bar AND J/F saloon, are the AFF/FT corners still existing. I know the BNE QP corner is a long way from the bar and probably needs relocation - any suggestions?

Re FT corners ...

MEL's will been usurped by the J lounge, SYD's is still part of the QP.

MEL's was due to open this morning but this has been postponed until Thursday.

Interestingly, to get to MEL's you will need to walk through the QP to the J lounge; credentials will need to be proferred twice. This is unlike SYD where there are separate entrances.

Will be interesting to see how food, drinks, etc compares to the QP

Been twice to Sydney J lounge, so far I think more space between chairs, food is same as QC, only 1 soup during day [whereas QC has 2 choices ], bar same. Probably more PC's per person. Coffee only available till 9.30am, Don't Qantas know people fly after 9.30am !!!!!!!!!!!!! and like a cup of coffee.

Best part was lack of kids YES YES YES. One of my trips to it was on a Sunday.

If the MEL J lounge opens on Thursday then I should be able to sample SYD J Lounge on Tuesday evening, MEL J lounge on Thursday evening, and BNE J Lounge on Friday evening.

Completely nuts!

Was in Syd and BNE j lounge both of last 2 weekends
Was quiet both times
No kids either time but was early

Breakfast had pastries
No barista Sat am

Otherwise
quieter than general QC at same time

I'll still be going in there when i fly but most of my flying is out of Syd T2!

Crash 8's still have more leg room than a 737!
