What are elite points???

They are officially called Tier Miles (but are the equivalent of Elite Qualifying Points on American and serve the same purpose as Status Credits)

Thanks for letting us know; we're sorry for the delay. We expect transfer requests to be completed within 5 business days, but are aware of some recent instances where this hasn't happened. Please leave us your details in a private message and we'll follow up. Sorry for the confusion in the confirmation email which stated 2 business days.

Thanks for the reply. The points appeared in my Etihad account this afternoon, eight business days after the transfer was initiated.

Update: Etihad have now posted May Guest Tier Miles and have informed us that June Guest Tier Miles will be posted by the end of this week. Thank you for your patience.

thanks. just checked - May there but but I converted some FB points to miles 7 days ago - nothing there yet.

Converted some points to miles on 7 July and nothing is showing in my Etihad account. Looks like even the promised 5 business days (it used to be 2) is a lie.

FYI, my recent FB->EY conversion took eight business days (which was 12 actual days) to complete.

June tier miles posted yesterday but still waiting for FB converted points to post- 10 days now

Have now received my May and June Etihad tier miles from FlyBuys and sitting around 40k. I'd love to get to 50k for Gold status but have no imminent flights planned. Any suggestions on how this could be done - apart from buying 10k worth of groceries/booze?

You are limited to 2,500 tier miles per month. You could buy giftcards.

I can report that my last FB->EY points transfer was completed in five business days which was far better than the eight business days for my previous transfer.

Sorry for being in the wrong thread, but I'm trying to book an 'internal indian flight' right now with points + pay. All was going well, until the payment failed to go through.... Would anyone / Flybuys know of an answer?

I added QFF as a rewards partner for points & SC.

Probably have to wait for a rep.

From what I can read, no SC for Jet Airways.

Just wanted to give a quick congratulations to the Flybuys Travel customer service team for a job well done! I booked a flight when Flybuys travel first launched and the points didn't credit to my Flybuys account. The other week I lodged a query through the FlyBuys Travel website and it was answered the same day and the correction processed the following day! Great customer service and this isn't the first time I've had this kind of experience with Flybuys, so a big thank you! Most of us understand that things can sometimes go wrong, it's part of life, how a company deals with these mistakes is what differentiates the good / great from the rest of the pack. In my experience, both Flybuys and AMEX seem to really value prompt customer service. Now if only a certain airline with a skippy logo would get to my emailed request from a couple of weeks ago...

On a separate note Flybuys, if you are looking for ideas to improve the FlyBuys program, I'd be really keen to see you expand the number of airline redemption partners you have beyond Etihad. With the revamped FlyBuys program, I think you have the opportunity to make a rewards program that could rival the best in the country (which would be AMEX in my opinion) - perhaps even be the best in Australia. You already have a great range of shopping partners and you have credit card offerings, but to really challenge to be the best rewards program, you'd need to expand your range of flight rewards partners. By this I mean partners where you can convert Flybuys points into airline frequent flyer points (like we can with Etihad), not "Any Seat" award bookings via the Flybuys Travel website (these have a time and a place, but that is not what I'm talking about).

If you are considering expanding your redemption partners I'd suggest the usual suspects: Virgin Australia's Velocity, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer and Cathy Pacific Asia Miles. If you wanted to stand-out from the pack though and rival AMEX, you could consider adding some less common, but much sought after partners: American Airlines AAdvantage, British Airways Avios, Alaska Air Mileage Plan and of course Starwood Preferred Guest. It would be great to see some high quality competition to AMEX in the award space and Flybuys I think you are only a few quality redemption partners away!

Either way, thanks for the great customer service in my recent case and keep up the good work!

Edit: Couple of wrong clicks and this post didn't end up in the thread I was intending, sorry - hopefully it isn't too off topic.
