Thank you admin for putting back participated threads.

App still quite unstable though. lots of flickering, jumping me to the middle of threads.

OK. Thanks. I thought that I had updated all of my apps through iTunes a few days ago. May not have included the AAF app for some reason?

Maybe I will leave it as is, for the time being, from what I've being reading here. Or maybe it's now too late.

I suspect Caversham04 was referring to the latest version of the iOS App (4.1.0) - which only became available last night... the rest of the thread, whilst informative, is now somewhat moot with a new release and some of the reported bugs addressed.

For me (now using the latest iOS App), the flickering/refreshing has ceased (which IMO was the most annoying thing), however when opening a subscribed thread, it doesn't land on the latest post.

Yep - new version so I assumed the previous comments not to be relevant; apologies if this assumption was wrong :). Would be good perhaps to have a option to select to go automatically to "last viewed post" or "most recent post", and restoring the ability to e-mail a post (to myself) from within the app would also be useful; I'm too old to remember things for very long these days :p

App still flickering really badly (?worse than previous update) when scrolling through the timeline. Can only scroll down 10 or so posts before it jumps back to the beginning.
Threads taking a very long time to load when clicked on through the App.

Last update made little to no improvement for me. Using the app is still very uncomfortable and significant improvements must be done to make it user friendly.

I'm (still) enjoying the old app :D any idea how long before it's cut off from instant/current feeds? e.g. will AFF cut it off at a time of their choosing or will it just keep going like the energiser bunny?

Have now updated the app:shock:. However, it takes forever to update, and with Timeline, where it shows that the last post was 2 minutes ago, for example, that is from the last time that I viewed. Waiting, waiting.

Very slow updating posts on my i-phone 4 on 4G, compared to a week, or so, ago.

Latest version comments:

Generally working well so far but (a) slow to update on my iPad Air and (b) posts "liked" in the app do not show as "liked" on the main site.

This version is no better than the last.
The screen still flickers and the app is unusable a lot of the time on both my iPad 2 and my iPhone 5.
When are we going to see some sense in this with a rollback to what we had 2 app versions ago?

Still can't upload some pics via the app.
What about PMs button? It's useless to have it only on the desktop version.

Hate to report but very very buggy today.

Dumping me back randomly at the start of threads / middle of threads that I've already previously read through.

Flickering continues :(

Not sure if this has been reported or not yet, but the tables in the lounge meet threads don't appear properly on the Android app.

Updated to the new release.

Pics not showing ( just boxes); 'subscribed' still loads to a white screen; still getting lots of flickering.

Deleting application after this post.

Not sure if this has been reported or not yet, but the tables in the lounge meet threads don't appear properly on the Android app.

Tables never appeared properly on the andriod tapatalk app.

Pics have been showing for me but have now reverted to empty boxes.

All threads are very slow loading.

Dang! No sooner mention that pics are empty boxes and they re-appear properly
