Honestly if anything the App is going backwards at the minute in terms of functionality. I didn't think that was possible but seems it is.

Agree to the bug and general sentiment. Also, 'Subscribed' usually doesn't load - spins for half a second, then just white screen. Threads open at either #1 or some place ,any pages back, not the last page I viewed on either the application or laptop (I had the old tapa-talk version re-stored but in a fit of jet lagged stupidity, agreed to an 'upgrade' .)

Still drops me at a random point in the thread, and Subscribed not loading. Tick to delete read posts occasionally fails to appear. iPad Air running iOS 9

Just wondering if there is any update on fixing the app?? Still experiencing loads of flickering and refreshing making it impossible to read more than 10 or so threads down and continuing issues with being dropped in random parts of threads. Those are the two biggest frustrations for me....

I also get that, but it's very rare.

Me too, it's very challenging and frustrating to use. Means I use AFF much less than I used too. Very much looking forward to this being fixed very soon.

Are most of the issues with IOS now?

I know my Android version is much better now, although still some issues between the Desktop and Nexus in knowing where I have read to. And scrolling in a thread seems "stiff", no flick and catch for example. But overall I feel I am able to use it as I need to. What about other Droid users?

Oh, the latest issue is when you highlight a post, hit Quote, get a blank post. Great.

Upgraded the app and now seem to be getting random associations with threads that I haven't subscribed to or participated in.

Bad luck JohnM. Got to be careful with the upgrades. I think I might go and do another backup of the old app in case I accidentally upgrade before the iOS version is fixed.

Basically, the new app hasn't been as bad for me as others. But this update has posts from me appearing in threads I have merely viewed. Yikes!

I do note that in using the old Android app I am also getting brought to the wrong place in old threads (often a few days posts behind)

So potentially not an issue with the new app per se..

Would also be great if we could have "Participated" and "Subscribed" buttons on the web version alongside New Posts

Welcome to our world JohnM. Actually, I'm back on the old app, but you know what I mean.

If you haven't synced with a computer lately, you could delete the app and restore the last version you had off your PC.

At home, I very seldom use the app. It's only while I've been travelling and posting pics from my phone. Today it simply won't load - even with a hard reset of my phone.

I still have the problem with synchronising the read posts between my Android phone and the PCs. Today on my phone I landed about 5 posts before my last post to this thread.

Do you have the latest update? I don't get this at all on my iPhone any more.
