Sky news are reporting that Kevin 07 is going to be the ex-PM tomorrow.
But apparently the Unions and the right wing have decided otherwise.Didn't think gillard was ready to make her move.
I'm not - IMHO the on Camera losing it KRudd did to Kerry O'Brien was the tuning point....
I must admit to being gobsmacked.:shock::shock::shock:

I can't believe the weakness of politicans and the people of Australia. We've just ceded control of the country to the ceos of xstrata, rio and bhpb et al

Well, Julia Gillard is now the first female, and 28th P.M.of this wonderful Country.
Time will tell if she is any better than Rudd.
Cheers Dee
I have an interesting list of broken promises that I will find and post as soon as I am able.Well, breaking news is that KRudd has stepped aside and we now have a new (and first female) Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.
KRudd joins an august group of Prime Ministers who have stood aside in their first term in office

I'm not really talking about being for or against the mining tax. More about the process that lead to this. Basically the mining companies have usurped the choice of the public, by using a disinformation campaign because they are not happy with a tax. Regardless of the salemanship of rudd the issue is the weakness of the public in falling for that BS from the miners, tne numbers in the miners ads don't add up any better than the governments numbers. You could also say that the opposite happened with the union campaign against workchoices.QF009 said:There is no indication that Gillard is in any way opposed to the mining tax. Labor just needed a better salesperson.
Sorry but i think you have got the wrong bunch of CEOs.My money is that it is the CEOs of the polling organisations that now run Australia.I can't believe the weakness of politicans and the people of Australia. We've just ceded control of the country to the ceos of xstrata, rio and bhpb et al
And from some of today's media interviews, it seems the leaders of various trade unions had a significant influence in the proceedings of the last 24 hours.Sorry but i think you have got the wrong bunch of CEOs.My money is that it is the CEOs of the polling organisations that now run Australia.
