These two are what I think of as the double shots. Big hair big night, and his useless mate. Them I will definitely not miss.

Poor actors in that coffee piece I wonder if they get recognised on the street Pretty funny.

Apart from the cheesiness of their lines it is straight out misleading. No airline, ever has ever ever served ‘great coffee’. Period.

(Unless you are from America and then maybe you think airline coffee is pretty good!)

On the new video, very good. Saw The short version play but haven’t had time to watch the long one.

I found the 8 minute thing quite boring; I hope the 3 minute version is better.

I tried to like it but couldn’t, give me Beeeec any day. It comes off too much as marketing and is too slow. Having just booked a bucketload of flights, there’s no avoiding it and maybe it’ll grow on me. The nicest thing I can say is I liked how they did the period airport hall.

The most recent QF video I liked was ~2017 with the whip around Australian attractions, IMHO it was done in a great understated way.

Love the updated video itself, especially seeing Wunala Dreaming!

Wouldn't want to watch it every single flight though.

Short one is punchy, they could have made it a bit longer I think, but I guess you see more of it over time

One thing that does surprise me is that in the safety parts they seem to always slip in an error or omission. In the last video, the girl in Brighton on the slide said "lean forward" but the visuals were her leaning backwards.

Brighton girl (RIP) looks like she might struggle to lean forward with that tummy!

I actually quite like that new video until the moment when that god-awful super cheesy children choir appears and ruins the whole thing.

Usually enough shreeky brats on the flight itself so no need for the extra torture

Aw, c'mon. Surely Air NZ's hobbit safety video should get an honourable mention?!
