Oh no! Not good at all, and a bit of an over-reaction in my eyes. No reason to stop the bubble with, say, WA. Then again- they are super cautious over here and most destination are not part of it anymore anyway. Still- really sad to see!Well, this is rather concerning:

In addition, the normal update that is provided on Facebook at ~2pm hasn't occurred yet (now over an hour late).
ell WA a separate country, maybe they have their own trans-Gr8AusBight-tasman-bubble.Oh no! Not good at all, and a bit of an over-reaction in my eyes. No reason to stop the bubble with, say, WA. The one key thing is that WA is still allowing people to transit. No reason to stop the bubble with, say, WA
You can understand why this would be the approach given how poorly NZ are doing with their own vaccination rollout (no blame from me - just fact). At least they are giving their own time to get home.
The point is the entire bubble is paused. NZ clearly have little confidence the WA border measures are sufficiently strong.Nah, NSW is out of control. 3rd holiday cancelled since March for me. It's almost on schedule too, 10 days out from departure seems to be the MO.
Thanks Gladys
Why? We had a one way bubble for many months starting last year.Should be a two way suspension then, albeit with 7 days notice on returnees to AUS

Hang on a second... Has this been confirmed- you can also not enter Australia anymore from New Zealand??? This would create a severe issue for me as I'm due to start with a new employer in Australia in a few weeks' time. Never thought this could be an issue as the one way bubble had been open for ages. Why? We had a one way bubble for many months starting last year.
